Hi! I just started Stellaris recently and I'm loving it!

I was referring to a Game Guide, and it suggested lowering the slider bars during game creation to make my first game easier to learn, and it suggested that later on I could raise the bars again so that I wouldn't be alone in the universe (for example.)

I'm ready to interact with other races, but despite searching through everything I can find, I have no idea how to return to the slider bar menu so that I can experience the challenges I turned down/off for my first experience in the game.

I'm sure that there is already a thread detailing this, but I don't really want to spend hours searching for it... can anyone help me out, or point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Every time you start a new game, that option menu becomes available in pre-setup. You can't adjust them once the game has started thoguh.

I would recommend not following all those guides and just play with the default settings for now. Default ensign would not be a big challenge even for a first time player, as ai is in very bad shape. You can lower tech cost to 0.75
