My game refuses to start. I have purchased it through steam and kept it up to date on patches and expansions. I have re-installed the game and verified the files.

Please help. No mods, windows 7 on a laptop.

First register your game by clicking on "Register a game" at the top of the forum.

Then read the Tech FAQ here:

because a lot of problems with Windows 7 can be solved by that advice.

Edit: I just noticed you mentioning "expansions". FtG has no expansions. Do you mean "For the Glory" or another game?
