Game crashes whenever I try to save

First off, I know nothing about computers so I don't know how to give you all that computer information.

Anyway, whenever I try to save a game (it doesn't matter what nation it is) the game crashes. I get an error message that a problem has occurred and the program has to shut down.

Please help. When I first got the game, whenever I tried to save or load a game it just kept loading forever. Now, it seems that problem has been replaced with just crashing.

Try a full clean reinstall: move any valued save games elsewhere and uninstall the game from within Steam. Then manually delete ALL the EU4 directories from under BOTH the Steam and MyDocuments folders (exact locations in the sticky FILE LOCATIONS thread above). Now reinstall the game from Steam, and run the Verify just to make sure it all came down properly.
