game crashes on a certain date

I am playing age of revolutions as france, and during october 31st 1793 the game always just closes. I have tried different ways of dealing with this problem but nothing works. I guess the queen gets killed which causes the crash. Anyone know how to fix?

I can't see any event that HAS to occur on that date, but there are a number that might. Presumably you have a save showing this CTD.

If so please zip up the .eug and .eug.cfg files and email them to me at ataubman@ducros.com.au , along with a link to this thread, your forum Nick, and anything I have to do in the game to trigger the problem. Thanks.

The game you sent does CTD on that date for me with 1.05 or the current beta code, no matter which country I played. I cannot see it's tied to a particular event. Anyway I've sent it off to the coders, they will usually be able to spot and fix the problem in a few days. I've asked but I can't guarantee you'll be able to play on with this one. I'll let you know either way.
