Game crash on save

Every time I try to save, my game crashes, I have tried to uninstall the game and reinstall without dlc, but its the same problem. played 77+ hours without this problem!

I've got EU4 with all dlc running smooth so I dont think its my PC, can anyone please help!!??

I got the same problem. Whenever I wanted to save, i got a 50% chance risking it will crash and failed to save the game( worse it may corrupt save file...)
Autosaving works sometimes... but starting from today even autosave will crash ( OMG Why ALWAYS ME!!!!)

I also got EU4 and all DLC and running super smooth as well. I think I encountered the same situation as Lamenivi... Please somebody help??

What version are you guys using? 2.1.4 or 2.1.5.5? Or are you using another version?

I've been running a few games in 2.1.5.5 and haven't had any issues related to saving. Are you using any mods or anything? Is it just that one save game, or are you having problems with new saves as well? If it is just that save game, perhaps you could upload it so that we can look at that save file?

Things happened also when i started a plain new game...

If you have Windows XP, or Vista/Win7/8 32bit, you may have the 32bit Windows memory problem. Try rolling back to 2.0.4 in the Steam beta tab; if that helps then do this Workaround:

1: Open Command Prompt (it's in Accessories in Vista)

2: Set it to be in Admin mode http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc947813(v=ws.10).aspx

3: Paste this in: bcdedit /set increaseuserva 3072

4: Restart

5: If you ever need to undo: BCDEdit /deletevalue increaseuserva

Note this will NOT help if you have 2gb or less of system memory, only loading fewer DLCs will do that, or rolling back to 2.0.4 .

I am having similar issues. I have run both 2.1.5.5 and 2.1.4, and in both versions, my game will CTD about 50% of the time I save, both manually and autosaving. My dxdiag is below. Note that it is not the Windows 32-bit issue, since I am running 64-bit. Also, I have started new games in both of these versions, so version compatibility shouldn't be the problem.

The crash happened when I attempted to save a game( by luck, sometimes no crash at all)
Things happened also when i started a plain new game...

Autosave seems work well... but crash may happen as well even for autosave...

Any idea?? (Feel desperate...)
