Game Crash at Start

Hi,
I've just bought Tyranny +Tales from the Tiers+Portrait Pack on Steam, but I never been able to play a single game, cause when starting a new game, it gives me the loading screen and then crashes with the "Oops" window.
I attach here some of my crash logs (5 crashes) tried with different graphics configurations.
Is there a solution? Or have I totally wasted my money?

I am very sorry this issue is happening to you. I will reach out to one of our programmers to see if they can identify the source of the crash.

In the meantime, I would recommend you try the following:

1. Verify your game files on steam to ensure they downloaded correctly.
2. Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your graphics driver.

Hello @Obsidian_David ! Thanks for the fast reply!
I checked for drivers' updates through Nvidia Experience and it's all up-to-date. I've also verified game files on Steam and no error was found.

Today I changed options setting antialias to x4 (did before, didn't work) and changed the fps to "unlimited" instead of 60 fps. Applied changes and the game crashed as usual. Restarted the game, chose "new game" and it played well from character creation/conquest to the start of the story without crashes. I don't think problem is solved, but at least I can play.
Is that any known issue with fps settings? Also it would be nice if we can understand why does it crash everytime I change graphic settings? It's not something I'm gonna do so often, but I fear it's hiding some dangerous bug linked to Unity's graphics settings management.

I haven't had any recent reports of issues similar to yours, so I don't think this is a known issue, but I'd like to get our details in the report as accurate as possible for the programmers to try to decipher what is going wrong.

Yes, I'm glad to help!
Vsync is off and I don't have Gsync.
I don't know if this can create problems, but I have RivaTunerStatistic Server activated locked to 60 fps (I never had any problem with RivaTuner, tho).

I heard back from our programmers, and they do believe that this crash is related to the graphics card or driver set. So they only suggestion they had to offer was to try getting the latest driver or downgrading to a previous driver.

My graphic card is a Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 and I have the latest drivers... It sounds strange to me that Tyranny is not fully compatible with Nvidia drivers or with the GTX 970 that is one of the most diffused. By the way, I think you'll understand if I say that I'm not gonna downgrade my drivers just to make Tyranny more stable... I'll stick with this configuration and hope for the best. But if the problem really is the GTX 970 or Nvidia drivers, I think some stress test with different configuration and debugging must be done!
Anyway, don't get me wrong, Tyranny is a very wonderful game and I'm enjoying it so much! I think that you made a very good job with the game, despite this issue. Hope it will become even better in the future!

Out of curiosity, are you running MSI Afterburner? I know another member here on the forums has stated that he appears to be having similar behavioral issues tied to whether MSI Afterburner is running in the background or not.
