Game Crash April 1 1943

Playing Darkest Hour Full, version 1.02_b1 latest version 1.01.1, check sum DQWR
When it gets to April 1, 1943 does auto save, after a few seconds locks up and crashes. Backed up to autosave for March and ran forward, saving at 2200 on March 30. Have tried as different countries, same result. Frustrating, was looking forward to building fleet to go after Cananda

If your checksum is DQWR, your game can´t be either 1.01 or 1.02b1, so could you please clarify which version of game you actually have?

Btw: Why is the attachment an .exe?

The attachment is not a savegame. The savegame is the .eug file.

Can you please retest with 1.02 Final?
There are some similar to yours issues fixed in the final release of 1.02
