Oh look! According to the most recent DD, galciv will have a loyalty system for leaders. If their agenda and the "player"'s don't agree well, and if he is not appeased or even executed, there may be negative modifiers for local pops, and in the extreme cases, he may even defect and take away planets with him.
Fancy that! If only such a thing like that was suggested here once or twice. Must not have ranked high as a good idea for game improvements. Well, maybe after more important things, like the further next 20 rounds of modifier tweaking and adjustments, and a few more species packs (I am eager to have a Giraffoid species pack, with double-size portraits to fit the necks, that would be a game changer for me).
We always need more of those; but perhaps after, some secondarilly interesting features like that loyalty thingy could be contemplated.
