Before the patch / DLC today the game worked perfectly. After purchasing Utopia and installing, when I start a new game I am greeted with this: http://imgur.com/a/JLXJf

The menus are functional, I can start time and select research, etc. But planets, systems, ships are all unavailable or invisible. Selecting the 'locate' button on a planet or ship does nothing. Panning doesn't do anything, neither does zooming in or out.

Steps I have taken to remedy:
1) Verify files
2) Disable all mods
3) Disable all DLC
4) Delete settings folder and restart the game
5) Reinstall game
6) Update graphical drives

None have worked, I still get the same result upon starting a game. I have used both custom and preset races and default and custom game settings.

Any suggestions?

Some system info:
Windows 10
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz
AMD Radeon HD 7850 Series
System Memory 16 GB

Unfortunately, it's not a problem I'm seeing.

If you register your game/link your Steam profile to your forum account, you'll be able to see the bug and tech support forums. If anyone else is having the problem, they may have posted a fix in a thread on there.

Welp, after playing around with the game some more, I figured it out. None of the buttons worked, except the one on the bottom right that zooms in on your homeworld. That gave me a view of the sun at an extremely close distance. So, that means the map is working, I just can't move or pan to it to make it work because none of the buttons do anything. Am I getting some kind of interferance?

So here's where I figured out the solution. I unplugged my freaking Playstation controller, and everything was fine....

...

but I appreciate the help everyone.
