I have never once, ever, seen the AI not choose to gain the Fussy Trait as a child I am educating, and honestly, this is kind of frustrating. In general the AI feels like it is incorrigible to educate, and it seems far likelier to get negative traits than positive ones a lot of the time if there is a negative trait that can be gotten.

Could there be some kind of Education rebalance, to make some of the Education Focuses from Conclave better (I'm looking at you Etiquette and Pride), and to make some of them less overwhelmingly good (Duty and Thrift). And then, there is of course Struggle, which is the single most frustrating because of how often Rowdy turns into Dull, compared to either of the other two possible choices.

It's frustratingly difficult to get any of the fun roleplaying traits (like Just, Gregarious, Erudite, Brave) without subjecting yourself to really terrible ones (such as Frail, Dull, Slothful); and the AI is spectacularly bad at educating itself as a result of the fact that only a couple of the education focuses are actually worth picking (or even safe to pick) from a meta perspective.

I'd like to pitch some kind of balance pass on traits in general to the Devs as well. Right now, it's too frustratingly difficult to get and keep particular good traits (too random), while a handful of particular good and bad traits (charitable, kind, paranoid) have extremely common events to produce them, and it seems like the aforementioned fun and interesting traits are almost always the first to get the axe by the random trait culling events.

Deciding whether to have Conclave turned on for a game is one of the biggest decisions I make before it, because things like this are such a huge pain in the rear and sour the experience for me more often than not.

None of the outcomes are really bad. Both patient and diligent (with intervention) are very good. And greedy or paranoid aren't truly bad

Otherwise, yes, education is pretty unbalanced with some of the choices being way too good compared to others. And after a few generation most of the best people will be of your dynasty. I've accidentally done incest by looking only at stats and traits
