I have DD-on demand 1.1 play Germany on N/N to learn the new aspects. result is just funny.
first strange thing, NatSpain lost terribly and swiftly although being helped by Ger, Ita and RepSpain by no-one  good to see, that when fascists have lost, legion Condor has brought nothing but sorrow home
then, small experiment: march 1, 1939, break NA with Poland, annex Cze via event and immediatelly DoW Poland. worked fine. USSR had "poland attacked without blessing". then I issued peace with Poles, wanting only few western provinces, but none on east. done.
well, I said to my-self, Benelux are very good trading partners (tons of rares for some energy), so why to make them wary; let us test French High Command. Operation French Disease: retracted forces from Freiburg and then from Friedrichshafen. French tried to capture them and pushed 15 divisions there. they were closed into pocket and surrended. is AI so stupid to make it again? yes, it is. next 15 divisons dead. then, maginot line was crossed by my 55 divisions and France fell in august 1939 and Vichy was proclaimed. Benelux survived as a loyal friend with +50 relations. shortly thereafter, I had M-R pact, relations with SU went high again +72
no more war with Poland.
Operation Sealion: it is true, SS are almost worthless against surface fleets, but they serve as good bite, they take only moderate damage, while they make Royal Navy quite busy for a long time. my transport safely reached Norwich and captured it in concert with para-descent. Homeland fell in September 1940, while Kriegmarine has lost three submarines
shortly after Homeland fell, SU DoWed UK. wow! not allied with SU, but having common enemy... US stay aside.
then I went quickly through Spain and captured Gib (one garison there). way to Africa is open. Denmark will open way to America, amicably or not amicably.
lotta fun.
DD comments: auto-slider management is not perfect
tends to adjust sliders slighter bellow what's needed when taking IC damage by strat bombing. escort by brigades is fine, SS are more realistic, IMHO, inteligence is far too expensive and for totalitarian Ger useless. needs to be tested as plutocracy
I ve noticed several new events, which is fine
