Just an idea of mine:

Shouldn't the DH Team (aka MartinBG) focus on modability and engine stuff?
Many suggestions & bug reports pertain to false leaders, ministers, OOBs etc..

Of Course this is also very important, but since MartinBG isn't full-time DH dev and there is nearly no financial Support, shouldn't they Focus on make the game more stable, faster and better to mod?

Things like, e.g. Minister pics can do every one with google & paint or photoshop.
Modder can do this and add it to the vanilla game (as in 1.05 with several improvement mods).

So, what do you think? e.g. one patch per year with only engine/technical stuff, or one patch all 4 years but whith overworked Ministers etc.?

While i get your point i strongly disagree.
A minor issue fixed in vanilla is fixed in ALL mods. That is a fantastic returrn of investment.
ATM gamers can report the issue, post an alternative image/person and this is changed by the devs. The research is already done, the "bug" is found and in most cases does not need testing. In a few cases even the image /tech-pic, leaderimage, etc) is delivered to the devs as well. You can't get it cheaper (plus dicussing these things in public means one can state a different opinion). This community is full of knowledge, different language skills, i wouldn't ignore it.

so, to be honest, I think we both have right, according to the viewpoint. I can't disagree with you.

so, let's say at least adding new Scenarios shouldn't be the main Task of the DH Devs?

But after all, I now think that this discussion isn't really necessary. I have to admit that I'm full of trust to the DH Devs, I think they will use resources as good as they Can.
