I had a fun time playing the new DLC as Manchuko. I was building up to get ready for a great independance war, but Japan was making way too many gains in China. I was able to declare war on Japan and encircle a lot of divisions in Korea and eventually I was able to push them out of Beijing. The Japanese offered me a white peace and I would gain core on most of North Eastern China. Losing Korea was acceptable, I mean I was going to be Emperor of China. With peace with the Japanese and control of Beijing I was able to move my capital and restore authority.
Now all I had to do was beat the Nationalists an the Warlords. After making gains to the Shandong peninsula the Nationalists were able to push Japan back out at Shanghai and off of the peninsula. The Chinese accepted Japanese peace and regained all of the land I had taken and forced a peace between me an the nationalists.
I like to think the the Emperor of Qing and Chiang Kaishek were just sharing a room in some imperial palace in Beijing and were filming some sort of sit com. The other bonus was that I was no longer able to deploy units.
I like to think that the game ended here and that there was eternal peace in the game. Unfortunately Nationalist China "called" Shanxi into a war that no longer existed, which caused me to be at war with all of China. I ended up losing my game because all of my divisions had been exiled after the peace. Great update paradox!
