Some suggestions for Spain.
1. Fueros
Description - local, ancestral, quasi-ancient laws. Some have Visigoth origins. Main regions have their own laws. In contrast to the autonomy these laws are not given from above. Privileges and libertades quasi-independent states and regions. Fueros was referred to as "Natural Constitution of Spain". Along with the era of enlightenment, the Spanish authorities liquidated fueros, going to centralization, exploiting and impoverishing the country.
Proposal to use
A) triggered moddifier - We respect the fueros - Iberian region; feudal or administrative monarchy or theocracy or non-modern republic; NOT protestant or reformed. Effect: all provinces on the peninsula have min. autonomy 25%; global unrest -1; Legitimacy +1%; RT +0,3%; Devotion +1%; not Rev. Target
B) disaster - War of the fueros - if triggered moddifier We respect the fueros non active and neither iberian country has canceled fueros. +5 unrest, +30% stability cost. Chain of events of the rebels, fighting for the old laws. End if fueros return or something.
2. Hispanidad
Description - in the early colonial era Spanish do not feel European. Created the geopolitical concept of Hispanidad. This is a great union of the Spanish New World and Spain on Old World. It was an idea that raised the spirits of the Spaniards and gave them strength. Hispanidad is placed on against the Anglo-Saxon world. It was a war the world of ideas with the world of materialism.
Proposal to use
A) triggered moddifier - Rise idea Hispanidad- I dont have good concept to this.
B) triggered moddifier - Small fall idea Hispanidad- if Spain lost the war with the Protestants it has a penalty. +10% techcost; -10% morale; +25% costs of reducing inflation etc. Duration 20 years.
C) triggered moddifier - Fall idea of Hispanidad - if Spain loses colonial empire. -30% techcost, -30% trade power etc. Great decadence
