I understand that it used to be worse... but... OMG this achievement is annoying. You gotta form Arabia, which requires you to be fairly large, automatically making you lose the max yearly tribal authority (-3). And then you have to max authority (100)... The amount you get for defeating armies is negligible at this stage in the game. Humiliating rivals only grant 30, which in ten years is gone (smaller than the length of the truce). So you really need to be at war with three rivals simultaneously, which is insane considering that at this point of the game they are quite powerful in comparison to you (I'm mostly referring to all their allies in addition to them), or choose one rival and keep truce breaking and hoping you don't pass them up in the process.

Sorry about the rant. Any thoughts are welcome.

EDIT: When I say Tribal Authority, I mean Tribal Allegiance

If it's specifically the achievement you're after, can't you save up mil points and just spam Strengthen Government?

Tribal Allegiance*** is different than Horde Unity. In my case, I have Legitimacy instead of Horde Unity. The only ways that I know of to increase Tribal Allegiance is by winning battles and humiliating rivals.

I did it! Brought in the Ottomans against the Commonwealth (who didn't have any allies except Cili), killed most of their troops, humiliated them. Then declared war on Vijayanagar, who although had more troops than me (with their allies), I out-teched them by a lot. So I killed a TON of their troops (after taking the idea to increase prestige from battles, which seems to be what determines tribal allegiance gain). Once my allegiance was over 70, I peaced out with humiliation. BAM! Two wars. I could've probably done it solely with Vijay, but two wars was safer.

I just truce broke the Ottomans twice, because that's much easier. I was doing it in the same run as Najd anyways so stability was cheap, and I was large enough for coalitions to not be a thing.
