Based on the 5 year plan I'm assuming this is going to be a major focus of the next expansion and I think it is desperately needed. I've been watching a few AI only games mostly to watch the German/Soviet front and based on what I'm seeing I just can't bring myself to sink much time into it right now with the way that it looks. IT is almost as bad as it was in the early days of MtG. For some reason the Soviets never seem to know who they are going to be fighting and where they are going to commit. On the game I am watching now the German front was manned decently well, but the Finnish front was completely ungarrisoned. Then the Soviets overcorrect and put four full armies on the Finnish front and only have 2 against Germany/Romania. All of these while they had four armies garrisoning Msocow. The frontline did stabilize close to the historical frontline which I guess is kinda cool, but what a strange way to get there. A couple other negative notes, Japan initiates war against USA too late, and so does Germany against USSR. Also I haven't seen a single Husky game where Germany sends volunteers to Spain. FYI I am playing with all DLC other than the latest. One bright side that I noticed today, and I'm not sure how I never did before. I do think it is cool that the Aral sea is in game in its historical size. That is a pretty obscure detail that Paradox got right.
