Just wondering if this is working as intended? I build a frontier outpost, then I put it in a sector. Shouldn't the sector now be the one paying the influence? I am still being charged influence for the outpost.
If only it was clear where your borders were going to be when you add or remove an outpost.yes, but even frontier outpost inside your territory still spread your border range, it just more spread out, although it rarely worth it to keep up, unless you're on edge of getting an other colonizable planet in your territory and removing it might cause you to lose access to a system that you could build an other outpost in to get it.

Yeah. Its painful!unfortunatly the only way is to save, delete, look and than re-load if necessary....
It used to work like that - you could build an outpost, sectorize it, and then you didn't have to pay influence upkeep for it. It was considered a bug and was fixed.
