From the Dust - A CU AAR

Well a played a 16 year CU game as Finland, and I'm very glad I did. I learned quite a bit about managing a CU empire compared to a normal one, and the fact that the Caribs are on an island should help me stay alive. That is, if we can knock off those pesky Cubans....

As Im sure you've noticed, I was unable to update this weekend due to external events. To make it up to you, I pledge that I shall release seperate updates next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, at which point Ill try to stick with the once a week timetable.

Ok guys, I got a crapload of homework to do today, and I saw a rare retail copy of HoI 3 yesterday, and as I buy paradox games retail, I immediatly bought it (as seen by the shiny new tank under my avatar). So I'll try to update this tonight, but its mainly going to be an overview of the starting situation, my goals for the game, and the opening colonization moves. Usually a war breaks out at this stage, but I colonized fast enough to avoid it, and therefore avoid a more interesting update.

If you with taking in the idea means me, I can tell you, that I hadnt noticed this one when I started my own. Or, I already had the idea, and noticed this one about 5 minutes before i made mine.

But, I suspect that it wasnt what you actually meant.

It's not like I have a monopoly on CU AARs, and God knows no one is getting thier CU fix from this yet. More power to the people who want to make one.
