from Castille to Spain

Hi,

it is 1493, I am playing as Castille and diplo annexed Aragon, and Portugal is my vassal.
Can I expect an event to form Spain? If so, which ones would be the conditions?

If you have EU3 complete version and i assume its HTTT, then you need to wait for aragorn to core and then there is a decision to enact.

If you mean before forming Spain that is probably because Spain was formed by marriage, not conquest (aside from ejecting the muslims). And there are missions encouraging close relations between the Iberian (christian) countries.

Which don't work. CAS is permanently at its Iberian neighbours' throats - a matter over which I haz a sad, because it's such a sharp contrast to Anatolia where TUR is seemingly content to let the rebel beyliks sit on its cores for decades on end.

Get a PU with Aragon and inherit. Free cores on all the turf you need. Portugal isn't required to form Spain.
And yes, VERY annoying how Ottomans sit around and let all the free conquering go to waste, and then next thing you know Castille is sitting in Anatolia, having HW's Kandar.

the assumption here is that the OP play on IN, so any advice to PU would probably not be very helpful, even if its the best way to form Spain on 5,1 or 5,2
