Friends forever

Greetings community!

I've been getting a lot of Steam friend requests lately, mostly people who need support or want to discuss something Skylines related - which is awesome - but also "randoms" who just happen to think it's a good idea to have me on their list, less awesome.

Due to the semi-impossible nature of properly sorting through these people to find the ones who are actually interested in interacting I've been forced to clean the list and start denying requests unless I know the person prior. This is super sad for me because I love each and every one of you but the friends list max limit enforced by Steam is too strict.

Nevertheless, I've opened a new channel for easy personal communication. So if you want to chat and the forum isn't your favorite place to do so, feel free to follow this page.

I'll do my best to respond to everything sent there, be it work related or just banter.

I know the feeling... out of the pity I have accepted also friend requests when I have broadcasted 1080p smoothly on steam but it is getting pretty ridiculous when 5-10 friend requests for each broadcast session

I wouldn't mind if they would have a conversation but nothing happens usually, no talking, private profile etc. I probably should set policy also for my self how to treat these.

Nah man, people that I've spoken to and I know actually make sense to have on Steam I gladly add. Just cleaned ~300 people so I have room!

I accept the occasional friend request with the exception I never do it if their profile is private.

But I don't get that many requests and I'm an unsociable bugger at the best of times

That sounds like fun, I want that job! In all seriousness though, I understand and have known that feeling before. I used to be more than willing than accept any friend request on anything, but after I started getting people who would spam me or some such I had to do the same thing.

Well I have 41 friends on facebook, but only 1 friend on Steam.. - Guess I am very picky who I interact with...

I merely use fb for testing reason, I suppose I triggered a bug when experimenting on the friends api

Pls no. It's nerve-wrecking to delete people from a friends list. I literally squirmed in my chair as I pressed yes, and still I removed at least one person I wanted there
