Alright, so I'm combatting this alien empire, but he's in a defense pact, so in order to bring him into the fold i have to combat a few of his partners systems.
I travel through my allies territory to get to his, go to enter a system named "Cardorth" click on it and BOOM, the animation of the star blowing up occurs, I'm concerned, there's no way this AI empire got star destroyers this early (2308).
Pause the game, look more closely, there's a Dimensional Horror sitting on the newly created blackhole, on top of that, my enemies defense pact mate and it aren't fighting, in fact, the 1.5k station and 2k fleet are ignoring the horror and vice versa.
The system isn't the empires home world so it rules out the worm event; just curious/concerned how you can become "Friendly" with a Horror.
The empire is a criminal syndicate megacorp, so no necromancy possibilities.
We don't play with mods (GF and I) so just wondering what's up?
Version Lem v3.1.2 (6df7) -- We've got all of the DLC if it helps.

Edit: We've learned that the Curators do not mention the horror yet, and there's a "Broken Gates" archeology site in the system.
I've never had that site so unsure of the outcome.
