What's up guys?

I may be able to join back up with my original MP group this time around. It's a bit iffy, but being optimistic I should be able to join back up. I know I disappeared abruptly last time around, but I'd lack a chance to redeem myself.

That's only 1 hour late, right? We could start when you get back...?

I think the group decided to take this Friday night off anyway. We just finished the last session and need a week to refresh. :D

It is necessary to have ICQ, or also you speak by
messenger. If this it is the last case can you explain me in private message in Spanish like unloading and installing this program. Also
serious interesting one lists updated with countries and players, the
rules, to begin the diplomatic actions.
I can start to play this Friday.

Right now we have 6 "old" players. I think that we should not have more than 10. (every time we had more game was crushing a lot)
I do not like the idea of Lady Europa joining the game. Sorry LA but you left us cold last game in the middle of the session just becouse the game got difficult. I do not like that and how would I know that you will not do it again. Some of us (me) were in similar situation but did not quit the game. In any case it is not my decision on who joins the game and who will not. I think we will have a vote (old members) if we have too many people intrested or we will start with more than 10 players and see how the game works.

I have to stress this one more time. This is just my opinion and a decision will be taken by all "old" players. Also, please do not join the game if you can't be sure that you can play most of the Fridays (or SAT mornings in Spain) :)

Sorry Dago. We did start at 21:00 or 03:00 CET before but it did not work for us. Too many people are working late or need to spend time with family. That is why we moved our time to 22:00 or 04:00 CET during last game. :(

I'd have to vote No on Lady E as well unless we have an extra spot, and if she is willing to take some smaller fringe country.

It's nothing personal but believe it or not, your limited time in our last game had a tremendous effect on the rest of the game. The vacuum created by your depature and your handling of your country allowed others to expand in unexpected areas which eventually gave them huge advantages.

So, I'd be willing, if space available, to allow you to prove yourself on some small fringe country but not on a major, which would probably make the game boring for you.

Sask as a sub if needed (he would post when available.)

ok, I think that we need to decide how many players we are willing to have in the game. Please vote (only "old" mambers). When we decide how big group we wish to form we will know if we need to choose new players or take them all.

Options.
8 players
9 players
10 players
11 players
12 or more players.

Well, we have ten now I believe. My question is, "How many can Daed's connection hold".

I believe ten or eleven would give us a good group to play with.

10-11 is a nice group size, be sure all the players are dedicated as well, and i'm afraid you will need a good host with an excelent upstream.

I know Lady and she uses to have huge depresions during "thin cows times" :) you could forbide her to participate, but don't blame her about it, we're all free to go or be absent for a time considering the context, we're not machines, that's why subs exist, anyhow most of the players are long term ones and knowing this I'm sure there will be no problems, especially when a game is about to start (and I'm sure we all have no double intentions here, i mean provoking harm for nothing), if i were Gm I would let Lady a 2nd chance, as a mayor or minor, Brandenburg is a good option, if not, Japan :D but that's a punishment! My point is that one has to be open to everyone (in the threads) it's more probable to have a good surprise than a bad one :) I knew the cases of a newbie that i let to join in one of my games, and after one session, the guy was so enchanted with the group that made an excelent AAR and some others remarkations and diplomacy that proves his good intentions, I had no other option than accepting him, Me was surprised in some way too.

well I'm not intending to write a Bible, you choose. Btw, my icq for those who were interested is in my sign. I have both Messenger and Icq, and i know it's vital to mantain a healthy campaign. :)

Although only can vote old players I think that 10-12 is a good number of players if the host has excelent upstream. I´m agree with Javier.

Just to be clear. There is no GM in here. We never had one. I started the thread but I am not a GM. Anyone can post their ideas and opinions and all decisions are made by everyone. All "old" players will decide what we do or who is playing or not. There are some playing rules (like max provs taken in one war) which are set but you were informed about that from the start. Anything alse will be decided after we have all players set.

Regarding the number of players, I think we can take as many as daed's connection can handle.

yep, I hate Gms actually :D as i said I'm a veteran and I used to play in small groups, all the decisions were taken by all, maybe an organizer was needed, so i understand this point and what's more I think I'll enjoy more here than in european absolutist campaigns :p
