Sorry about declaring war near the end of the session, but I've decided to claim France's rightful territories up to the Rhine. I would have done it earlier, but I stupidly joined the alliance of doom. I though it would end in 1695, but it didn't. And waiting another year- well, Spain was investing heavily in land tech so I didn;t want to wait.

Cbasin, your England is 100+ ducats a month richer and has a slightly larger navy. Be sure to continue colonization in the Indoensia region.
Modest session for Austria. Two inflations events. Converted few provinces to the great family of Catholics. Even if our BB is reduced we had only a civil war cause of three plague events in 4 years, almost reached Infra 5 (shish) and got finally some potent leaders.

The alliance of doom wasn't entirely bad for you. You go to see all of my troop dispositions. I see you built up forces in your colonies acordingly.
Good session though. I enoyed the naval war with OE. That was much more fun than a land war.
If anyone wants to sell a leader as a mercenary, I'm buying. 1000 ducats per general. If they have aferage of 4 for fire and shock, I'll up it to 2000.

I would love to buy LeFort and Sheremetev. We've never done mercenary generals and I doubt people would go for the idea. It was just frustration on my part that I'm fighting France again with a 4-4-4-1 leader at the head of each of her 7 armies and Vauban with a 4 siege as the ugly duckling. My only guy is a 3-3-3.

Well I think it is a cool idea and I dont think it should be opposed. In my opinion it is very realistic. If a country is not at war or likely to be so in the near future, I would think it would be quite reasonable for their generals to go to where the action is and gain some experience of modern warfare.
It's an interesting idea but one that should be implemented next session. It's never fair to change the rules half-way through.
