Next, and this is going to be more of an eye-raiser, i have been inspired by Dunkler Kaiser's audit so to speak, of armies and ratios of armies in the Saturday Night Game, to perform a similar one, and bring this to the attention of my fellow players.

so, what do these columns of figures mean/add up to? well, lets see:

the United Kingdom has deployed 89 divisions which have no converted manpower to support them: BLATANT AND INTENTIONAL exploitation imo.

France has deployed 6 divisions that have no converted manpower to support them: not really a problem here imo, given the divisions in question.

Germany has deployed 0 divisions that have no converted manpower to support them. no problem here, perfect score on this audit.

Russia has deployed 82 divisions that have no converted manpower to support them. BLATANT and INTENTIONAL exploitation imo.

the Ottoman Empire has deployed 64 divisions that have no converted manpower to support them. BLATANT and INTENTIONAL exploitation imo.

Spain has deployed 3 divisions that have no converted manpower to support them. not really a problem here imo, given the divisions in question.


I had no idea that such things went on. My mind couldn't fathom exploiting things this way. I've been suspicious of how i'm not higher in the military ratings relative to other powers, and how they have so many more divs without higher national culture populations (russia excepted in this case, i assume they do have the highest state culture population).

I propose that a rule be put into place:

1) a max limit of 10 divisions be placed, over the maximum possible amount. so if one can have 160 divs, then having 170 isn't a big deal, as circumstances and things sometimes give this result.

2)nations may only have a maximum of 2 divs over the max limit of divs for that culture, again restricted to the 10 overlimit total allowed.

3)current violaters must fix their violations as soon as the rule is put into place, by either disbanding, or promoting enough culture pops to normalize and balance the culture/division ratios.

taken together, i call this the 'balance of armies rule' and propose that it become effective as soon as a majority of players agree to it.

Well, another thing I dont see as unfair, but to be honest, I didnt know it too... that 40 romanians are for sure just 40 guard divs I ordered at once, and why they arent Russian I have no idea (It probably was at Romanian automatically without me noticing). I will look at it, but I have to admit that promoting enough Romanians for 40 divs can be a bit hard... :) Also, I was quite sure that I had 10 Korean divs??? Are you really sure that these numbers are correct? Now that I look again at them they surprise me even more... I would have Finnish and Swedish divisions? Didnt know that...

I will advocate this rule however: You are allowed to build more units of any(!) culture then you can support, but the overbuild in that particular culture then has to be supported with (one of) your stateculture(s) extra amount, that would mean that I Russia, for example, would be allowed to promote enough Russian soldiers to support those 40 Romanian and those Finnish and Swedish divisions, and also that the UK can promote Brits to support those Polish 40 divs...

Good, I will keep an eye on this if we agree on it, and maybe we should make a rule about it whenever we start a next game :)

As you can guess reading my statements above, my vote on this case is a neutral-positive vote, and look at the stats again, why would I exploit the mechanics when I have 40 Rom divs deployed, while you can also see that I have quite some Russian free(!) soldiers, and you also know that its no problem for me to promote Russian POPs for 250 more divs... Also, I have milspending low, doesnt that influence the amounts of divs you can deploy from a certain culture?


A last thing: ALLAROUND MULTIPLAYER LAND LOOKING IN THE SAVE GAME IS CONSIDERED TO BE CHEATING! :eek: Therefore next time you want to check such things, please first ask all of us, OK?

general: all specterx had to do was refuse to send me the save, i informed him beforehand of the audit i was going to do.

husayn: you didn't complain to dunklerkaiser when he did the same thing, being a little contradictory here aren't we?

more general: those numbers are correct, unless specterx sent me the wrong save, which i'm 99.999% sure he didn't.

kle: i know there is no rule to deal with this, hance i suggested the adoption of one!

another general: i can see where UK and Russia would berate me for looking into things, they didn't want to be caught exploiting! unofortunately, i just happen to care about having an honest game, where we all try win without cheap exploits, cheats, and such. Am i the only one who wants such a game? i notice that spain and france have restrained themselves from such exploitive playing, lets get everyone on this same page.

However I did have a talk to him about doing in during a war....
