I see 'alpha' for all combats; tank for land combat; airplane for air combat and the grenade for ??? Indirect fire (strategic bombing, artillery fire???)

What do the numbers next to the battles mean? The number of units?

If so the Americans seem like they are in trouble with that naval battle near Palawan

Looks excellent . I especially like the three-part urban area in Shanghai.

Though I think it's odd that when the slider's mostly red, it means we're winning .

If Alpha means "All Combats", a capital Sigma would be better IMHO (mathematical sign for sum). Would make it more internation, too...

It's a bomb, not a grenade, methinks. So strat bombing sounds about right.
