I have played as the frg after the usa or allies beat germany the frg is pathetic in the leadership department they need alot better commanders most ww2 german commander served in some capacity or secret plans would have put them into service in the event of a war so i think they should on the 1.05 put better commanders in at the very least it would make a cold war scenario a lot more interesting. Let me know what you think?

I haven't gotten that far, but that would make sense. Though the actual Bundeswehr wasn't created until 1955 and the NVA until 56 so they probably shouldn't much need leaders anyways.

First of all, the re-arming of FRG/DDR should be event-driven, by the countries which liberated them as puppets. Having a vanquished Germany re-arm immediately (particularly if using Wehrmacht commanders) seems odd (even if the liberated Germanys tend to stick to infantry units, at least at first).

In what respect is the FRG leadership "pathetic"?

Humm, there's a way to release FRG as puppet ?
Last time I took out Germany, an event quickly popped up about redrawing Europe, FRG was released, but it wasn't a puppet of mine... I'm not even sure DDR was a puppet of the USSR.

their leaders dont have very high skill compared to germany. in this game you cant have a country not have a military for 10 years and you can puppet frg as you are conquering germany you realease them before you annex them. to be perfectley honest I have never seen in 30 plus games from gotterdammerung and other start dates a historical split of europe its always the usa takes over everything or the commies do so i think a specific event that as soon a germany is defeated that the historical split occurs what do you think of that
