Frequent CTD 2.2.1 Recently occuring. Very stable up to now. Ironman related

Hi

I have begun suffering frequent CTD. I am playing TOG start as the count Alfred in England. The game manages to last a couple of months before crashing to desktop.

I am playing ironman because I am chasing achievements.

I don't recall having CTD and I have enjoyed a number of ironman games. ALthough I didn't get to endgame (because I suck) they never crashed. I recently bought Charlemagne and part of me tell me it started happening after this. Or after I tried the new beta patch.

Fresh install - completely fresh. Removed legacy steam folders as well as the PI folder in myDocs. All of my DLCs (all main ones) and ruler designer, CK2-->EU4, Mongal pack are active but no mods.

edit: should have said 'possible' ironman related in the title. Soz!

Any ideas? Where can I find logs to send?

DEFO not ironman
Crashed on a normal game.

In Steam right-click on CK2 and choose Properties. Hit the Beta tab and select 2.2.1.1 from the list there. Once the update is done, try the game again please - there are several CTDs fixed in there.

Beta completely fixed my issue.

Weird. I had one CTD with the beta before I uninstalled etc which made me I reverted back to vanilla. That must have just been a random CTD

CK2 beta is stable as you like again.
