Except for the tips in the paradoxian about France, is there some way to become, without cheats or modding, an authorian empire with power to become a new continental controller of europe and finally beat the other allied nations?

Like take Germanys place as occupators of Europe.

Some tips of how to more or less without UKs help annexing the germans also as France?

Viva la France :p

Actually, I'm right in the middle of such a game. You'll have to wait 'till the 1938 elections and select Elect Right, that way you'll become authoritan with the Bourbons ruling.

I don't have much experience with them, but right now it's Oct 1939, I've quite the Allies and am actively supporting the Axis, while making my very own conquest in the meantime. (Spain and Italy in Europe; Tibet and Sinkiang in Asia with my Indochinese puppet... China's already divided with the Japanese...)

Also, it's best taking the Benelux states as early as Sept 1938.

That's all I can think of now.

Thank you

Good to know how to become authorian :D

I have now started testing how to become a large empire in europe from GC and I will try the most radical of ideas

Did you ally Japan in the beginning like the strategy in paradoxian says?

I'm about to abandon my current France game b/c I annexed Germany so easily. I stayed democratic, but became more interventionist as quickly as possible. I was able to DoW Germany in 38, and I annexed them by the end of the year. UK wasn't very obviously any help, but I know they did some strat bombing, and I assume they helped occupy the airforce. I had allied with Rep. Spain prior to that war, and Germany (very foolishly) DoWed the lowlands shortly after my invasion, so I had that help.

Basically, the rule is the earlier the war with Germany the better.

Well no problem to turn authorian a little bit later in the game if I just manage to annex like germany than the rest shouldn't be much of a problem :p

Nah, it would've net Japan way more provinces. I wanted a strong French puppet in Asia, I'll be conspirating against them later on anyway.

It's sort of a roleplaying game now.

I've seen even a comp France, very early, like 1938 or so, take on and beat Germany. The Germans need time to become a threat, so don't let them have that time.

 Strong AI :D

Well now it's 1940 on my game and France ( together with Satellites ) is the total power of europe
With Spain and Germany as puppets and owning Guanxi Clique, Austria, Sudetland, Poland and Memel I still just got an IC of 110
Just aristocrat kings in Germany, Spain and France ( Willhelm III, Juan II and Jean of Bourbon )

Next shoot aginst Italy I think but I got 41 Belligerence and 2.60 Dissent so I guess I will start The Second Napoleonic Wars in 1941 or something

Huhh in early 1940, I already had a belligerence of 111 together with my Indochinese puppet.

Oh yeah we incorporated some countries along the way too...

France: BeNeLux (with african and american colonies), Italy, Spain and Ireland.
Indochina: Indonesia, China (basically everything south of Nanking), Tibet, Bhutan and Nepal (which eventually got annexed by Tibet :D ), and Sinkiang.

Haha lol
I'm not that evil as it seems now
I have not yet conquered BeNeLux, Italy or any BIGGER ( ) parts of China and I don't keep my conquers
I'm preparing to puppetise Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal and Italy for now and later go on Balkan and Scandinavia

The final job of the Third Empire is to beat UKs ass after Waterloo

How big is your IC by the way?
France: 110/100
Germany: 171/130
Spain: 54/40

Total: 335/270 or something like that

Dissent 1.7 now

Lol Poland are now with 30 IC in :p
Noticed that it would be better to releese FRG or DDR as Germany wont give me military control but they would I think ;)

30 IC? Wow! I had strange things with my game too... The Poles seem to exist in April 1940! At least the country-selection screen says so... even tho they got annexed on 12th September. :p

FRG is your best bet. It worth releasing it as she pops out a lot of mot, mec and arm troops.

What's the diffrence between releesing FRG or DDR? Will DDR create more infantry units because of being Soviet? :p

And how should I do to keep the bolshevikhs from invading me?

Yup, DDR spams INF FRG builds MOT/MEC/ARM.

The Soviet AI is not hardcoded to attack the Allies, it probably won't just make sure the USA stays out of your alliance as they can drag you in a war with the USSR. (Cold War gets hot event/hardcoded US AI DoWing someone with the largest belligerence...)

Well I just allied Poland and satelisated Spain and when Poland was attacked in 1939 I attacked with the faster troops in France northwards until Hanover suported by regular infantry

Pretty tough when I came into the occupied Polish area and there were like 30 divs per province but I made it :)
