I'm just starting AGCEEP and if France won't survive HYW again, someone would get injured.
This is only to give you some time for trying to hide somewhere....(But that won't help you, 'coz I'm omnipresent, MUHAHAHA!!!)

Perhaps he is not waiting until then, and quits when the original France disappears. I already told the guys in HYW thread that that set-up needs an instructions booklet. If you play it without knowing what to do, you never get it right, specially as England or Burgundy.

What is your checksum?
(those strange 4 letters which appear like "(PMHX)" after the version string in the upper left corner of screen at main menu)

Actually I've never seen DAU to NOT become FRA.
Currently they're just so strong that they can go any path from the start - to Murder Jean de Pressy or not, they come out as FRA anyways..
AI is not able to kill FRA atm (unless it is in your alliance or your vassal to be diploannexed - in which case it recieves much money from you).
And I think your checksum is the problem (you have some different files).

You think I'm not so provident enough to don't look into events.? I mad a deep research in HYW events.(!!!) So I know that France must be annexed(That's why Dauphine is in the list instead of France, right?).
Btw, something's wrong, those Burgundian traitors accepted Henry's demand... I've been already sharpening my special assassination swords... Someone will get hurt, no matter if France(Dauphine ) survive or not, my special assassination swords crave bloooooooood!!!

I actually think, that, as there's such nice feature as checksum, every error reporter from now on MUST first name his checksum.

There have already been misunderstandings at bug report thread due to this inconsistency.
People here are actually doing something and if your checksum is different from normal (PMHX for 1.37.1 with April21 beta) you only make them lose their time.

Well, at first, I never meant this threat to tell a bug...
There's 1 FRA(ENG's vassal), ENG have... errr, just w8 for picture..

Latest betapatch (correctly applied on a plain 1.08), and latest version of AGCEEP (1.37.1). Well, maybe one of those games was with previous version (1.36), and two with buggy version where cultures were messed in china (1.37). I would not criticize if I was not up-to-date.

Of those seven games, there've been four in a row where I wanted to play Austria, and wished to have France as enemy, but I just had to restart three times before having a Dauphiné-turned-France not too crippled.

I have to precise that I removed the Calais-Kent strait at one time, as this was crippling the english AI too much.


BTW, in the majority of my games, it's not by England that DAU was crushed, but by other (minor) neighbours.

looks quite normal for me, the vassal fra should be annexed/inherited(sp?) by england around 1423. After that dauphin or england dow each other, usually around 1427-29 the time when dauph gets a lot of leaders. If i remember correctly, they only have to hold orleans and champagne to become the new france.

The problem in my games is that england is mostly crushed by a giant france thx to calais street.

The only time France did't exist was when i played england and it wasn't a cake walk.

I have never said that THIS game (=picture) is going to hell.

While i agree, people should read faqs, readmes and instruction booklets before jumping into stuff no war should be so complex it requires a faq to know what to do.

I don't see any problem in your picture.

The picture is from my current game.
I have never stated that there's something wrong. My problem was only Dauphine not becoming France too often(NO ERRORS).
But whatever was original purpose of this thread, what happens with lowlands, When Burgundy annex france, gets big and/or becames France??(I mean the events when Charles Témeraire dies)...

(just forget about this thread... )
