French hidden IC

The french have only 3 provences with 0 IC in them, but have about 20 IC active somewhere.
It is '45 and DD 1.3

Anybody else see this?

i'm playing 1936 scenario as Soviet, it's 1942 now and France have 15 or 16 ic, but I can only find 1 ic in their provinces, so where do they get their other ic from?

France gets off map IC after vichy is created to represent Free french forces.

Thats right I remember now, NDA cant tell you who wrote it but their is an event that gives Free France off map IC once Vichy is formed.

In the Vichy_new file theres a choice about who the free french should rally to. Upon thosing de Gaulle the following command lines are executed

command = { type = free_oil value = 20 }
command = { type = free_supplies value = 50 }
command = { type = free_money value = 10 }

So the free french get 15 IC, 60 energy, 30 Metal, 15 Rares, 20 Oil, 10 Money and FIFTY supplies off-map. No way to prevent them getting this, other than restoring france to its homeland. In which case they are removed again...

This is a good idea in order for them to have a token presence in Africa and on the seas and such, but once they are confined to an island or two in the south pacific pumping out infinite infantry it gets a little ridiculous. There should be another event that reduces or cuts off their free resources once they are unfeasible.

This off map production is propobly to represent both support from the french people, and those who sympatise with the french, and british supplies sent to them. There should be some event that turns off the off map production when britain becomes unable to maintain a supply link. For instance when London falls..

They were also receiving Lend-Lease supplies from the US which isn't included in the Lend-Lease chain in HOI2.
