When a division is overrun or completely defeated, the losing country's bodycount rises about 10.000 men.
It is obvious that those men are NOT all dead. Most will be wounded or taken prisoner. The actual deathtoll (including permanently crippled soldiers) will probably "only" be around 20-50%, depending on circumstances.
After a long war, the casualties pile up. In the Yapan WWW for instance, China lost about 500k men in not even 2 years. This means A LOT of lost manpower over the time.
Is it possible that a certain percentage of those casualties flows back into the manpower pool, after the war ends? This would simulate POWs being exchanged or freed by the victor.
Not sure if this is a necessary feature in every game, but some countries already have to work with severe manpower constraints. Especially in MP this could be a game changer.
