"Free=True" in the scenario file. Anyone know what this does?

Hello all. I tried posting in the Events and Modifications forum, but did not get any replies to my post there. I also tried searching for this but had no luck. I opened the GC Scenario file and noticed one of the parameters of the file was:

Free = True

Does anyone know what happens when this is set to false? I noticed that this parameter does not exist in the Fantasia scenario. This leads to my second question. In the Fantasia scenario, under the globaldata heading, there is this entry:

desc = fantasy

This parameter is missing from the grand campaign and obviously flags the scenario as a Fantasia-style scenario. I was wondering if there are any other possibilities which could be placed in this parameter instead of "fantasy"? Thanks in advance for your help.

Okay, disregard the second part of that first post, Harvard helped me out there. I am still wondering what Free = True does in the Scenario file. Surely someone out there knows.

Since no-one seems to know, I'll give you a wild guess:
could it be a flag for whether revolters are allowed or not?
Just a thought to play with, maybe it will get the discussion going...

Thanks for the suggestion beowulf, that may be it. When I tried it out with Free=False, I wasn't really paying any attention to that. I'll check it out and repost.

And this is just in the GC scenario file? Maybe it means free= true as in the timeline is free and not set like other scenario's which are from xxxx-1819.
