How can free france be so strong in africa sometimes and where do they get troops from?

Free France has resources they trade with allies for factories and very limited MIC. With some lend-lease from allies and the limited manpower they have, they can still field a few divs. As UK or US, I sometimes give lend-lease to Belgium and see them pumping 10+ divisions in congo... imagine france...
