Since we now have a "Free Captives" CB vs enemies, could we possibly get the option to demand close family members back from our vassals? Considering we can try to demand to end their wars or change their succession laws, this seems like a natural option to have. It might only come up in rare cases, but it came up in a rather annoying way in my current game. Having passed the conclave status of women laws, I have my first daughter as my heir--but since I was marrying her to a distant relative, I didn't realize I needed to still matri-marry her until she ended up in her husband's lord's court. That's fine, except he won't accept an invite to mine and ends up being given a barony. So when he joins a rebellion against his liege, my daughter ends up getting captured by the liege and made a concubine.
So, his liege is also my kinsman, a named council position, and has 100 opinion of me. But despite the fact that he obviously liked me, he was of my dynasty, and I literally had x10 his troop count, there was nothing I could do to force him to give my daughter back except imprison him and execute him after a totally pointless imprisonment war, getting me a kinslayer trait I really didn't need to have. While I might've been able to avoid ths situation by being more careful, I'm sure there are other ways you could end up in a similar situation, and it just seems very silly that you can declare war on an enemy realm to get your daughter back, but not tell your vassal king to give her back when he has 100 opinion of you and very little reason to refuse. I would imagine this being kind of like other demands, where they can ask you for something, or refuse and give you grounds to imprison them and force them? Basically anything other than having to imprison the guy and kill him for something that should be solvable diplomatically. At the very least, I feel like I should've been able to demand her back in return for releasing him once I had him imprisoned.
