Frankish Heirs

I play King of Poland.
I have a son, Duke of Sandomierkie.
The Duke of Sandomierskie is also Duke of Poitou and some other French Duchies, inherited from Agnes of Aquitaine. His primary capital however was in the county of Sandomierskie, even though he held titles to other provinces and duchies. My son has a Hungarian wife. They produced a Frankish Catholic heir, in a Polish capital province, with a Polish father and a Hungarian mother.

Not sure if this is a bug. I know province determines 15% of culture, but their shield, thus I assume their Capital was in a Polish province.

He was Duke of Sandomiersk first and Count of Sandomierskie first under count titles. After severals saves and loads, the Capital never changed and the shield always stayed in Sandomierskie.

The capital is located near the primary title's provinces, so nothing wrong with the capitol shifting. French culture to your son sounds a bit weird though. What else is there you could share?

Not much else. Duke was Polish, with a capital in a Polish province, with a Hungarian wife, produced a Frankish son. He did own 4 Frankish provinces, but the Capital was in Sandomierskie County.
