Francesco is back and he has posted an update in the HOI3 thread

Maybe I heve the habit to disappear from time to time... maybe the mod development has been going very slowly in the past months... but this doesn't mean it's going to die anytime soon.





Have faith, US is coming.

I would assume it's going to be a part of official graphic pack - not shipped directly with the patch due to size and bandwidth constrains, but strongly suggested by developers to be used.

That was the plan until Francesco suddenly disappeared.. We even allowed bigger pictures in the engine just for his mod.

He has made new updates on the HOI3 fourm. I can't see them due to allegedly being "on probation".

Sorry for my long disapparences guys... a few months ago I was aiming to have a lot more stuff finished at this point but life changes in unpredictable ways sometimes and the amount of time I was able to dedicate to this mod has been very low.

That said... both HoI3 and DH version of the mod are being updated at the same time, every time I do some new work it's for both versions of the mod, I'm not leaving DH out in the cold.

I'm working on WW2 USA at this point, about 90% finished. As soon as USA will be finished I will see if it's possible to release a pack containing:

Germany 1914-1964
Japan 1933-1964
USA 1933-1964

Which is a lot less than what I was hoping to have at this time... but hey... still something for you to try out after months of waiting.
And again... the delays are not because I left DH for HoI3, it's because I didn't have the time to work on any version of the mod at all.

Great news, don't worry I think we all love your work which is already done and can't wait to see it released. But you'd better do it good and take your time, then to rush it and get a result which was not worth waiting for at all.

I realise you're busy and have a HUGE workload. But are you considering by any chance making models for a possible MDS mod? I know it's asking for much, but I'd rather ask and receive "no" for an answer than not ask at all .

Don't even ask. As if all countries in the world from 1914 til 1964 would be finished in a couple of months...

No, but there is supposed to be a guy working on a compatibility set. Not sure if he is still on it tho.

I have already received invitations like this in the past, to join other modders and do images for alternate histroy or modern day mods. It's nice to see people showing interest in what I do... but the answer is unfortunately always the same... completing WW1 and WW2, with all the important countries finished, it's an already very long trip and I can't have other "distractions" at the moment or it will take a century.
