I'm playing historical focuses multiplayer with a friend, I am Spain he is Italy, we are in Italy's faction(so is Japan and most of the Balkans).
France capitulates to Germany, then we declare on Germany when they become at war with the USSR(Finland joined the Axis). Free France capitulates AGAIN when I took enough of Africa. When Germany capitulates to the Soviets and we are pushing up through metro France the peace conference for the Axis pops up.
The Soviets take a predictably large German puppet, and i fuss around getting my friend the German provinces south of the Danube. I didn't realize that France was also on the table until the USSR took Tunis. Ive already wasted all my points and my friend takes a disconnected piece of France. So I have the Atlantic Coast, he has the alpine states and some state in the middle, the Soviets have all of French Africa and the Soviet puppet France has everything else.
This causes my African Army to be completely cut off in Nigeria and the Congo, allied troops pour into the Congo and my African Army is lost. Two of my European Armies in France get cut off, some of each in the Italian exclave and the rest are exiled in the French Commune. Its a mess.
Why was France part of this? Come to think of it, the allies weren't even demanding anything. I'm not sure they were even at the table at all? It really sapped all my enthusiasm for the campaign, losing and army and having to declare on the Comintern ahead of scheduled. Is this some sort of bug?
