France's reserve of FT-17s

Well, anyway, a huge number of them did exist in the game's timeframe.
HoI4 has WW1 tank unit, and a reserve system. Overlooking a stockpile of 50 or 100 old tanks for minors countries might not be that grave, but a stockpile of 2500+ tanks owned by one of the seven majors is clearly not something to overlook.

Moreover, the recently published DD30 has revealed a National Focus branch dedicated to revive the Little Entente, forming a bloc with Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and Romania to encircle Germany, at the cost of not allying with Britain. Those countries are medium powers, and apart from Czechoslovakia, have little industrial capability. Sending them FTs to bolster their armies could be a smart move.

Carabine: how do you bear the fact that the game allocates the Dewoitine d.500 as the main fighter in service and the only available for production in September 1939 (at a time when it has been fully replaced in first line service by the Morane and ways out of production)?

Quite irritating, isn't it?

I plan to put one battalion of FT-17's in each of my Infantry Divisions.

I think the stack should be there. All tanks should be as long as it's balanced. If it isn't then it shouldn't be there. Historical stockpiles are a good thing not a bad thing as long as they aren't boofazoo.
