So did anyone else notice this? I didn't see anything about this anywhere else. It kills the Italy rush. I guess maybe that's something they wanted to do?

Anyone knows if it is historically accurate? UK historically guaranteed Belgium and Portugal.
I've been looking for a source on this and I can't figure out if this is historical or not. I also would like to know this.
I really think France should have to go down the little entente focus path to guarantee yugo, otherwise this makes no sense.

Why did they reduce A-H’s world tension limit on justifying by 40%, only to make it worthless by FRA guaranteeing YUG from the get go?

there should be a race between France and A-H. FRA has to forego industrializing early, and A-H has to forego early research slots.

I just want to tell my story about AH achievement. I was try, after the new patch ( I'm still waiting for the DLC to be patched before buying it ) the new resistance system; it's funny but also it make AH way way harder to be played. After annexing Austria / Checoslovakia / and your supposed cores in Romania I was able to declare war on Yugoslavia. The point is Romania territory will just go crazy because you are out of manpower ( actually a constant problem for AH even after restoring the old Empire's border ). Now the new problematic point is France! You need to capitulate Yugoslavia in order to declare the restoration of old borders making you able to use your real manpower reserve. I managed some how to destroy 1M manpower from both France and Yugoslavia, ( it looks like the new AI is more "attack oriented", attacking you even when you are on the top of a mountain with air superiority ) but I'm just in a unrealistic position to inflict some casualties more to France or even getting air superiority over France. Because I was now playing in the 1939 the situation was clear a stall. I'm unable to defeat France even if they are about of manpower and division because of their navy and their air superiority, how I'm supposed to finish this achievement in this situation? Why there is not a sort of a peace agreement ? France was still not in the allies and also Yugo was not in the allies so why then would France want to continue fighting to defend a country that no longer exists and was only guaranteed but is not a direct ally? And finally, how the hell I'm supposed to get this achievement now? It's just bugged with the France defence over Yugoslavia; without it and with the new 40% tension limit guaranteed to the Royal AH family now is theoretically possible to defeat all the Balkans before they will try to join the allies getting a ton of manpower and resources, making this achievement not easier but just more funny and less frustrating. Paradox please do something to fix this.

If France goes fascist they remove those guarantees.
Yes it is kinda historical to have the bonds.
In history IIRC the Balkans was French sphere of influence until the Great Depression which struck French power very hard. After that they started slowly shifting towards Germany and Italy because those countries were less affected by the Depression and so their relative powers increased.

If this is true its historical it's just another case of gameplay being ruined for the minor historocalaccuracy.

"The Treaty of Friendship between France and Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, signed on November 1, 1927 in Paris, which was originally concluded for five years, but it was extended on November 10, 1932 and December 2, 1937. The treaty obliged the parties to consult their foreign policies, particularly the security matters of the involved states." (source)

Talk about your railroad scripting. Why even bother having the Little Entente focus line if France is guaranteeing Yugoslavia for free? You block Italy from expanding it's production base in the only area it can and France can focus its spending elsewhere.

I like this change - in theory. But then I want good historical behavior across the board. Do we get that? Arguably not. But maybe we should put this one in the at least a step in the right direction column ? But I doubt they will follow it up so it seems rather arbitrary and not very sandboxy.(which I like though)
I don't see how it is worthless, it's already silly that Allies turn completely blind eye if Hungary annexes Austria and entire Czechoslovakia. You want to get the rest of the lands to restore your empire.... well you will have to fight for it.
