France getting stronger by the minute

France is still easy to kill at beginning. Ally Austria/Burgundy as Castile, they will 9/10 rival France and will join your war.

Dunno OP. France was very OP pre-1.8 but I am not sure about that in 1.8. My latest game as England has seen France crushed by me. I used my troops carefully & French doomstacks lost a lot of men due to attrition & I attacked them when I could win. Soon enough their WE went really high & Brugandy jumped & destroyed them together with my forces. I ended up making a personal union with them & allied with Austria later to solidify my hold on mainland of Europe.
England is stronger and now France generally wins the HYW with less manpower than it did before.
This means all previous strategies are very slightly easier to pull off.

France is annoying...They wont join your wars ( because it would Disrupt their country ). But they want you to join in theirs ?. That was like the worse ally choice I made.. But eh now they are not allies with me as for being strong.. I do not notice any Difference to be honest. Hopefully they fight Austria soon so that they could be weaken lol. I cant stand Austria
THen you had bad luck, because I DOWed Bohemia as Hungary and then got a DOW from the Ottomans, and the only reason I got white peace was because of France as my ally.
