Anyone else notice that the list of Flashpoint rewards is a little wonky?
What I notice most is it will list a single mech salvage part and one isn't enough to complete a chassis, but once you hit accept, it either gives you a whole mech or at least enough parts to complete the chassis.
I've only started to examine the FP files for a project, but I agree that there may be some weirdness happening. Also, I'm new to the Battletech section, so please accept my apologies if my post is redundant.
I've watched several youtubers play through and noticed that they didn't always receive the same number of rewards from a FP as I did. For example, on Red Hunt a streamer only received seven pieces in the reward cache. Comparing that to my own save scumming (for science!) to see the number of rewards, I received, at most, eleven rewards. I haven't drilled down through that FP's item collection enough to know the actual number of rewards we're meant to receive.
I don't know if that is the game having some level of randomization to the number of rewards (wonky). Or if the player in the YT video received duplicates and the rewards screen doesn't show the number awarded if there are duplicates.
My guess is the FP rewards screen doesn't show duplicates, that could be the reason you receive enough parts for a mech, and the reason for reward number discrepancy. Despite the screen only showing one piece / part.
