I wonder if Turkey keeps refusing to enter the Axis, and if you declare war---could that, after Turkey's surrender of course, precipitate a southernly invasion of USSR from northeastern Turkey by the German forces?

a invasion of turkey might be a possibility, if they don`t join...members of the grand counsel! what will do next?
a) shall we strike preemptively against yugosslavia? (Grazian is not right btw. the chance that yugosslavia joins the allies soon is slim)
b) shall we wait for our airplanes and strike then?
c)should we hope that germany backs down in the upcoming "sudeten" crisis?
d) should we leave the "Axis" alliance? (forgot to mention, that we joined it in late 37)

I'd say wait for the new airfleet to shape up as well...and hope the Sudeten crisis doesn't start a full-blown war before you're prepared for it.
BTW, what is your secondary priority (after airforce) the navy or land forces? That might dictate some of the avenues for future plans as well

Wait for your new planes and start stocking up on resources. I need to know if you are sharing tech with Germany or more importantly if Germany is sharing tech with you? You might want to invest in short range subs for the med only...depends on how much IC it costs, but short range subs for the med to cut off their supplies would work. Or force the brits to escort their convoys more heavily (thus making it more expensive for them)...if they send in heavy ASW escorts..have your airfleets take care of them...which will cause them in turn to bring in more air assets to guard the ASW assests...which will then in turn eat up more of their resources...see where this goes?

I'd go with leaving Yugoslavia alone. Unless they provide anything of value, that is. But I don't believe they do.

Italys research was directed towards air, so our subs (we have plenty of them) are just crap. and no, germany didn`t want to share technology with us. I`d like to have some of that fancy german land doctrine stuff
btw. could anybody else host the sreenies as well? I was surprised to see the whole bandwidth being used within half a day
what kind of resources has Yugo? Without this info, i'll say wait for the air stuff
it depends... if you`re germany, the US, the SU or the UK Yugoslavias resources are not worth to mention, if you`re italy it looks like a first prize

Italys future lies in the Med. and in the middle east, Duce! we should concentrate on controling Egypt the gate to the Orient! We need to seal of the Med. cutting of the british supplylines. I recommend preparing for the enevitable conflagration with the british and french and stock up and prepare to take Malta, Gibralta and Egypt as soon as possible when the war breaks out.

Okay, I know that you were persuing the air doctrine tech path. However, I think that whatever IC you can spare to put towards upgrading your subs at all would be well worth your effort as they are cheaper to make, maintain and upgrade than your other naval units. Besides, you get more bang per IC for subs than other naval units.
Take the gate to the med...sure it will be hard..but you can do it..that and egypt..thats all..come on now..

Sir! I remain convinced that control over Greece and especially Crete will put us in the best possible position to seize Egypt and the Canal. If targeting Yugoslavia is a step in that direction, then we must do it. If it is better to be patient and prepare to take Greece, then I would counsel a buildup of our forces. This is probably a wise course, regardless, given the state of our forces and the mountainous terrain of the Balkans.
