While I wasn't logged in, I clicked on the search button and got redirected to a page telling me to log in. On the text on the page, it seemed like one of the vBulletin templates was messed up. You can see some of the PHP.

Not really that is the standard you do not have permission to access page.
If you are talking about the user name, that has been an issue for a while due to database changes.

It's not a database problem that a PHP variable name is sitting in the HTML or that someone commented out a link incorrectly, ending up with a visible '); ?> in the HTML.

Also, I'm pretty sure "$vbulletin->userinfo[username]" is supposed to be your name.

That was the error I was talking about but the OP was talking about one further down.
