Hey there, folks. StreetPizza here with a question about forum rules.

The rules clearly state that necromancy is illegal, but I'm wondering how old the thread has to be to be considered "dead." The thread I'm thinking of in particular is the Polandball comics thread. The last post in the thread was almost two months ago and the thread doesn't show up in the first few pages of the OT forum anymore, but I have Polandball comics I'd like to share and I'm pretty sure starting a new thread would just make helpful folks point me towards the old thread.

So, long story short: can I post in this two-month-old thread if I have relevant content?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

As a very general guideline, 3 months is considered necro. but it very much depends on the thread a very popular thread that died off could be revived after and not be considered necro, a thread on a specific question that was answered could be considered necro after two weeks. You have to kind of use your common sense.

Necro is bad mainly because the people involved in the original discussion have moved on. If it is a general post weird pics thread for example then that is not really as relevant. Also different sub forums may have different netiquette about reviving old threads an what is considered too old.
