To further the relations between two states;

Concerning the State of Chilean Affairs,
The Government of the United States shall commit officers of the United States Army to Chile, to assist in the instruction and organization of the Chilean Army, to help it better defend its citizens and territory;
The Government of the United States shall commit a substantial amount of military supplies to Chilean ports, to be integrated into the current supply of the Chilean Army, to assist in increasing the effectiveness of that army.
Concerning the State of American-Chilean Relations,
The Government of the United States shall grant land to the Government of the Chilean Republic in the capital, Washington D.C., for construction of an embassy;
The Government of the Chilean Republic shall grant land to the Government of the United States in the capital, Santiago, for construction of an embassy.
Therefore, as representatives of their respective Governments and Citizens, the signatories of both involved nations:
