So the Mad King of Sicily has finally made his move. The Kingdom of Sardinia Piedmont heeds the call of its ally, Austria, and Declares War on the Kingdom of Two Sicilies. We also thank the nations of Parma, Modena, and the city of Pontremoli for their peaceful joining of our nation, as this will straighten the cause of peaceful Italian unity even more. To those in the territories of Tuscany, Lucca, and the occupied areas of the Papal State, fear not, for we will rescue you from the oppression of the Sicilians.

The Kingdom of Prussia​

The Kingdom of Prussia wishes to express its support for the Austrian Empire in its efforts to dethrone the war-mad Sicilian king, as that deluded monarch has made repeated threats against both the Empire's territory and its loyal subjects.

Conversely, the Kingdom must condemn the so-called "Italian Peace Treaty" and the Kingdom of the French's involvement in internal Italian affairs. This is yet more proof of the French king's bellicose nature and his ill-conceived desire to involve himself in events outside his nation's area of concern. We join the United Kingdom and the Russian Empire in their statements on this subject and will view further French aggression in Italy as a matter of gravest consequence.

We would kindly like to remind the Prussian King that a treaty was signed between the Austrian Empire, and the French Kingdom, which was specifically targeted at this kind of situation. At the moment of signing the document, we thought that the Sicilian Monarch will be intelligent enough not to push his nation into war. The hostilities displayed towards Austria have caused a momentary uproar in France, and we have declared war upon the "Kingdom Of Italy", as they like to call themselves now. However, due to the fury it has borne in other neighbouring states, we are saddened to inform Austria that the French Kingdom will no longer take part in the war against Sicily. We do not want to risk the lives of thousands of French men and women over the sake of the Italian peninsula - we are sure the Austrian Empire, and all its might, will cope with the situation without our assistance.​

The Kingdom of Spain is pleased with her internal developements this past year. Besides the opposition of the writing of a new Constituion, which was opposed by higher levels, we have been moving forward at the rapid pace that I have dreamed about. New vineyards have formed in the Sherry Triangle, creating more jobs and more wealth for the Spanish people. The next step in the developement of the Spanish economy is a process of steady industrialization, as the sounds of new machinery can be heard throughout Europe. We perosnally will be taking the iniative on this issue creating a series of factories in Sevilla, so that goods can flow down the river and out to the masses of the world. I ask you, the Spanish People, to stand behind me in the effort, by signing up to work in these factories with a fercoity never seen before. We promise healthy wages for those who join the factories, and the oppurtunities for employment in the factories shall almost be limitless.

Furthermore, we are thrilled with uprooting of the Carlist rebels in the Pyrennes. Their defeat should force the other rebels who still cower in their hills and forests to recognize what their cause has become, hopeless. We hope that by the end of the decade, that the Carlist rebels will be completely eleminated, the traitor Carlos hung, and that we are able to return your husbands and sons to their farms and shops, so they can enjoy a glass of wine followed by a long siesta, well deserved from years of hard-fighting. We encourage the remaining rebels to lay down their arms, as should they do so, the terms will be light, but should we be forced to spend the blood of Spaniards in your defeat, the reprecussions shall be tenfold.

Internationally, as much as we would love to allow Spanish men and women to travel East to help the Pope defeat the vile Sicilians with their false emperor, Ferdinand, they are simply needed on the home front to defeat the Carlists who threaten our way of life. Also, we congratulate Queen Victoria on her sucessful rise to the throne, but mourn the loss of their former King. We will soon be sending a continegncy of gifts to celebrate the beggining of a new age in Great Britain. Finally, we hope that the conflict in Italy can be brought to a peaceful conclusion as soon as possible and that the Status Quo can be restored. ​

In Munich it is once again the time of the Oktoberfest, which is celebrated since 1810. King Ludwig I enjoys a beer on one a balcony of the Celebration tents, with his family and his Advisors and high nobles. The Local songs are sung as every year, however then the Chapel playing music within the tent starts the song: "Was ist des deutschen Vaterland", which is unusual. The King asks his advisors what this unfitting song has to do in a celebration tent. His advisors remind him that in 20 days it is the day for commemoration of the Battle of Leipzig, the Liberation of the German Lands from the Napoleonic Forces.
Ludwig takes another sip of the beer, and says: " The beer is most splendid this year, isn't it, but what actually Is the Germans fatherland.
His minister of foreign affairs replies, correct as always: "The Lands of the German Bund, as decided at the congress of Vienna", while his much more temperate minister of war says: "It will be our time to decide, the question of the Fatherland, and the Question of who is German." "Yes", Says Ludwig: " the Congress of Vienna was not it, what really is the Germans Fatherland, is yet to be decided, and i will be one of the men making the decision, but now is not the time for decisions, it is a time for celebration, and this, is what we should do.

If you're too busy to spend a measly 5 minutes jotting down something simple and easy, why exactly did you join in the first place then?

I'll admit, I don't think it was the fairest possible thing that could've been done. But, at the same time, you were literally the only one who had yet to send in orders, and when you make excuses about being busy for something that couldn't possibly have taken very much effort or time at all, it really casts a shadow of doubt on the validity of your claims. That, and, well, your rolls were bad anyways, so even if you had actually sent in orders it all would've blown up in your face anyways.
