Name: Oliver Fitzgerald, 2nd (preferably Baron) of Fitzgerald
Honorifics: Officer in the Imperial Army, Nobility
Personality Traits: School of the Offense
Property: Small Estates in northern Iridia, Smaller Estates in the city of Iridia
Biography: The Fitzgeralds were initially an unknown, virtually non-existant family in the eyes of common nobility until Emmett Fitzgerald, one of the many colonels in the Imperial Army, solidified his family's legacy for decades to come when he lead the charge during one of Iridia's only major victories against the Uticans in the Zarmir War. Emmett and his family were awarded with the Barony of Fitzgerald by the Emperor, allowing the Fitzgeralds to catapult into nobility status and finally having a proper voice in the halls of the Iridian Empire.

Oliver was raised in such a fortunate environment, with his family raising and rearing him in the art of warfare. Once he reached his majority, he immediately joined the Imperial Army and was appointed as a lieutenant colonel after only three years of service. Nowadays at the tender age of 30, Fitzgerald seeks greater ambitions and wishes to eventually prove to the Emperor that the Army is far superior than any Navy that the nation can muster by any means.

Fitzgerald currently sides with the rebels in the Kusma Revolt, believing in the establishment of a fair and true republic above the ashes of the old and outdated Iridian Empire.

I assume you mean he is secretly pro the rebellion? Second your random assigned trait is: Army officer reformer Noble rank is: baron

Name: Alastair Fitzroy

Age: 18

Honorifics: Officer in the Imperial Army ((Lieutenant as assigned by GM))

Personality Traits: Royal Bastard, Clever ((GM assigned))

Property:

Royal Salary – Despite being illegitimate, for much of his father’s reign Alastair was by and large considered a member of the royal family and received a salary befitting this status. This continues to supplement his meager officer’s pay.

Royal Blade – While Alastair saw little of his father for much of his childhood he often received gifts from the capital and during the occasional visits to his manse. While the presents mostly consisted of gaudy yet useless trinkets from far-off lands, there was one that Alastair still treasures as his most valuable possession: an exquisitely-crafted bastard sword wielded, the steel folded over itself numerous times during the forging process so as to strengthen the blade far beyond that of an average weapon. Ever since his thirteenth nameday Alastair has worn it constantly and trained with it regularly.

Bio: Alastair is the bastard son of Emperor Emiliano V and Lady Carissa Evings, a noblewoman from Novers. Conceived during a night of drunken, reckless passion (Emiliano’s wedding night, though to a different woman), Alastair’s birth and recognition as a royal bastard caused quite a scandal and as such he was kept far from court for much of his early life, no small thanks to Emiliano’s wife. Whereas a trueborn prince would have been raised in the halls of the Tolstov, the imperial palace, Alastair was instead brought up by a small cadre of trusted tutors and retainers in a manse outside the capital. It is there that whe received state-of-the-art instruction in all manner of study from military tactics to language and literature, proving himself a capable and clever student. When he was six he also began training with a weaponsmaster so has to train his body as well as his mind. He lacked for little during this time, provided as he was with an ample royal salary and surrounded by loyal retainers – however, life at the manse was lonely with no other children around for company and he was largely forbidden from traveling off the estate.

Despite the famous hatred Empress Isobel held for him, Emiliano made it a point to visit his bastard son from time to time, often with gifts. Later he would also bring along his trueborn son Victarian in the hopes that they would take a liking to each other. Despite the crown prince being four years his junior Alastair found in him a fast friend and a source of much-needed companionship in a childhood devoid of it, though their interactions were infrequent at first. This all changed following the death of Empress Isobel and the end of his informal exile; when Alastair was thirteen he was formally introduced to court by his father and sent to Tasmir to live together with Victarian. This was thought to be the work of Emiliano’s advisors who surmised that Alastair’s relative age, maturity and intelligence would prove a positive influence on the still-young prince. For three years they were near constant companions and playmates, particularly with swordplay which Alastair was already proficient in. Despite the continual warmth shown to him by his half-brother, Alastair was treated far more coldly by other young nobles. By his sixteenth year he had grown to feel alienated from those around him and Tasmir, once a place full of joy, had taken on a stifling, oppressive atmosphere.

Ever since his earliest years Alastair had dreamt of leading men to glory and becoming a war hero to be admired rather than a bastard to be ashamed of. His issues with his identity and this desire for more positive recognition culminated in his decision to enlist in the Imperial Army in 210 IC, entering as a lieutenant as was the norm for nobility. He anticipated action and adventure, but upon joining it became clear that he would not see anything resembling a battlefield for quite some time. His fellow junior officers, being nobles themselves, treat him with contempt while his superiors resent a subordinate who could potentially report any transgressions to the emperor himself. When Alistair received word of his father’s assassination he requested leave to visit the capital in order to attend the funeral. He is currently stationed in Novers.

Name: Christopher Frost
Age: 20
Honorifics: Officer in the Imperial Army (Lieutenant as assigned by the GM), Nobility (Earl as assigned by GM)
Personality Traits: Born Tactician, Army Officer Reformer (Assigned by GM)
Property: Large tracts of Family land on Ailhus, University located in Romel City
Biography:

The Frost's were one of the first families to settle on Ailhus following its initial annexation into the Empire. Through various marriages and schemes over the years they managed to carve out a decently-sized estate. Generally they served over the years in the service of the local Margraves but more recently after their power declined, saw more of the Frost's enter into Armed forces of the Empire. About 40 years ago Christopher's grandfather had a hatred of the newly freed serfs lack of knowledge, being nothing more than work animals at that point. The University privately owned by the Frost family was founded around 300 OC, mainly as a means to provide education to the young Nobility of Ailhus. The institution was well admired, at least by those who attended the university. Christopher's grandfather reluctantly opened the university to freemen; but of course they must be rather something special for admittance.

Christopher mainly followed the path of his ancestors, either defending the Empire or his home. Given his recently inherited Earldom it was rather easy to be accepted into the Emperor's Army and at that, a Lieutenant. Although the current state of the neglected Army is much less than desirable with the cases of nepotism and a distinct lack of professionalism. Unlike most of his peers, he can see just how pathetic the Army really is. With of course the recent events at Kusma proving him correct.

The Constitutional Empire of Iridia

House of Lords

The house of Lords is composed for every single nobility member out there (meaning carrying principle title). They house serve as “equalizer” between the nobles meaning each only get one vote, however the truth is many nobles are highly influential and convince other to support whatever they are wanting at the moment, as well ideological similarities and so on. It is the ruling body of the nation were laws, budgets proposals and projects are accepted or denied, including the ones the emperor herself/himself propose.

In order to go to war the any member of the house can propose it, it needs 60% of the votes to be passed. This applies to signing treaties with foreign nations, 60% is needed to pass.

It is quite the battlefield as prominent nobles battle to get the support of a commanding percentage to get things pass. At the present time after modifications through history a proposal only needs 51% to pass the parliament, the weight of the lords that abstain or don't vote is reduced from the number needed (so if you don't vote, you aren't counted for the %). The House of Lords only accept new proposals until ¾ of the season (aka of the turn length). Votes go off until the end of it or when a 51% is achieved, whichever happens first.

The emperor meanwhile having the need to obtain support in the house to pass laws and protect, have ultimate veto over the proposals about foreign policy, with the lost of control of internal proposals some 125 years ago with the foundation of the House of Lords. This means all foreign deals, treaties, war declaration and even peace declarations can be vetoed by him, with no way to reverse.

The House of lords elect the Lord general of the empire, according to the laws, anyone can be elected Lord Commander of the Armed forces of the empire, yet in practice as the armed forces officers corps are mainly staffed by nobles and noble relatives it's usually someone from the House of lords elected to the position, without care for military knowledge or not and more to do with politics. There has been cases of non nobility elected for the position, yet they never last long. Lord Commander position comes upon review, every 3 years is elected by simple majority (meaning whoever candidate gets the most votes) and can be dismissed at the will of the House of Lords with 51% support of it. The lord-Field Marshal position election and dismissal cannot be vetoed by the Emperor

Non-members of the House can petition the house for projects or help or what not, as don't the nobles care for all the nation?. However once the petition is done they have no right to vote, no to discuss it with the rest of the house, they must simply let the house debate on vote on it. On practice rich men from the country that hope for some sort of grant or permit bribes nobles in meeting to vote for their prepositions or make propositions in their instead adding another layer of politics to the house.

The House can ask for the dismissal of a member of the cabinet of the Emperor with a vote of no confidence on their acting, however this vote have meanwhile be called many times, succeed little for there is a need of 70% of the vote to achieve so. Even then the emperor can veto the dismissal of his cabinet member for one season in which another vote will be taken to verify if the house still feels the same. If few time 70% have been achieved, only four times in history have the house been able to dismiss a cabinet member in the second round.

Another work of the House is to vote in extra money grants requested by the cabinet members of the imperial cabinet. These grants are usually when the minister's desire to conduct projects of large caliber of expense well beyond their yearly allocated budget by the state (which is done without interference of the House), It is used to to give extra financing to institutions etc. One example would be an expansion of the royal navy, or building a national railroad and so on. Seating arrangements are the dukes sitting on front row, margrave behind them, and then earl and finally baron.

Vovoide

There are few voivodes, yet they are often left in charge to exert royal power over whole regions or territories. This position is never hereditary because of this to stop consolidation of one region against the Empire. Currently only ¾ Domestics Regions exist.(Don’t have names yet for them). Normally they are directly appointed by the Emperor without the need of House of Lords authorization, same with removal of the post.

The Emperor/Empress

The Emperor position have been retained by the same family since almost 200 Years ago, making it almost virtually impossible non related claimants exist for the throne of the empire. After the reformations of the government systems, which eliminated the absolute position of the emperor and created the House of Lords some 125 years ago.

The emperor have several offices whom he appoints without the intervention of the House of Lords to rule the nation, those are: The foreign Ministry, The Ministry of Finance,The Lord Admiral of the Empire and the Ministry of Imperial Affairs.

The Emperor has further duties, such as opening the house of lords every year, as well as attending once a season to listen to partitions and the plans of the government. The sovereign furthermore must sign any law for it to come into effect and be recognized, however unless they are in certain terms where he has the right to veto, he cannot refuse to sign a law.

Foreign Affairs Ministry
Usually a trusted member of his highness close circle, most of its jobs is analysis reports coming from foreign nations, making deals to be passed in the House of lords, advising the emperor on foreign relations or attempting to establish strong alliances and deter war with the many enemies of the ever glorious empire. This position comes with a great deal of influence and connection outside of the country ands is many times seek by those who wants to use outside forces to grow in power.

Minister of Finance

The minister of finance is the Emperor’s right hand man, carrying out policies of all kinds, from new taxation, to public infrastructure, leasing lands, permits and more in the name of the Emperor. The position manages large amounts of money as well as control over the taxation of the lands and the revenue of the state. Highly influential in the nation, this position is sought by those wanting to obtain great power and friends with it.

Lord Admiral

The Lord Admiral is appointed by the emperor himself without need of approval from the House of Lords thanks to a loophole in the legislation which created the House of Lords, exploited by the emperors some 100 years ago creating the position of Lord admiral as supreme commander of the prestigious imperial navy and all its members. Unlike the Lord-Commander, the men usually appointed to the position are officers of the Imperial navy or retired admirals, who knows the ways of the seas and more importantly hold loyalty to the emperor of the nation. There have been only a few men appointed to lead the navy whom have not been an officer from it. Unlike the Army, many officers from the navy are not nobles, and many of the Lord Admiral's have come from humble origins.

Lord Field-Marshal

Maximum leader of the proud armed forces of the empire. The HLG is elected by the House of Lords without the input of the emperor, contrary to the Imperial navy the HLG many times is selected more for his connections and money than any actual ability to lead men to war or any such things. Usually the HLG are not that loyal to the emperor as their loyalties lies with the House of Lords, for only few times it has been a non-noble elected for the position

Ministry of Imperial Affairs

A secretive position designed directly by the emperor, the imperial spymaster. while not an unknown position of the state, is shrouded in mystery and conspiracy, after all he operates with almost absolute freedom, granting the emperor no need to know of his activities or be informed of them in case all blow up. The Imperial spymaster leads the operative of the empire externally and internally for the safety of all.

Age: 24

Family: Konrad Friedrich Johann vir En-Ratel (father, 57, deceased); Marianne Louise Sophie van Huilsdierf (mother, 52, widowed); Hildegarde Winter Mathilde vir En-Ratel (elder sister, 26, unmarried); Franz Janus Karl vir En-Ratel (youner brother, 22, unmarried)

Honorifics: Baron (GM assigned) and Plantation Baron

Personality Traits: Prestiguous Family, Gifted Administrator (GM assigned)

Property: Large plantations and Shipyards

Bio: Young heir of the old vir En-Ratel family, named thus for having led the En and Ratel tribes when King Jonah III arrived to Ailhus and having pledged their alliegance after a decisive defeat against the invader's army, close to 600 years ago. Since that time, the family has not only changed their names to a more Iridian shade, but has faithfully served their rulers, barring one insane member, and has been rewarded with the administration of large tracts of farmland in the South of Iridia, and more recently, a series of shipyards in Romel City. During this time, they have built up a popularity with the nobility, and the people, as one of the founding families of the Empire, and as one of the pillars of their rule, maintaining the legitimacy of 600 years of rule from the Imperial Family. The En and Ratel people, while no longer existant as their tribes have dispersed into the common folk of Southern Ailhus, still consider the vir En-Ratel dynasty as their feudal rulers, crowning each new head of the dynasty by the title "Herald of the Blood Moon", a title close to a millenia old, that the dynasty hasn't used itself since becoming vassals of Jonah III.
The late lord von En-Ratel, Marcus' father, died in a accident as his ship sank when a raiding party from Meladir boarded, looted, and sank the transport ship. Born in the old familial estate near Romel City, Marcus grew up surrounded by advisors and councillors, learning about the Empire of Iridia, its political structure, its economic weight, and its military might. As he approached adulthood, his father brought in physicians, biologists, and chemists to explain the new inventions, as well as theorists. Marcus developped a incredible ability to administer the territories, finding errors and suggesting improvements to their domain by the age of 15. His father, confident in his eldest child's ability to oversee, with a group of advisers, their large swaths of land at the age of 18. 2 years later, his father died, leaving behind him his widowed wife, and his three unmarried children.

Name: Sir Stannis de Viscany
Age: 38
Honorifics: Claim to Throne/Imperial Blood, Officer in the Imperial Army(Colonel)
Personality Traits: War Hero, Diplomatic Nature
Property: Several Rooms at Tolstov Palace, Garrison of something

Biography: One of the younger brothers of the late Emperor Emiliano V. With two elder brothers, he was not expected to ever be Emperor. While not cared for by his father, he was left to his own devices. He loved reading books and pretending war by himself, but was mostly quiet around others, except for his twin brothers, both of whom he admired deeply. His early years were spent in happiness and content. During this time he befriended a person at the royal court, Bethany Konrad.

When he was five years old, the famous elderly General Marrian Konrad, a decorated hero from the Lagus War and crusher of revolts in the Dark Decades, and also the grandfather of his friend Bethany, took him under his wing. He taught Stannis a firm sense of loyalty, duty and honor, and the importance of them in the military. From then on, he knew he wanted to join the military. General Marrian only lived till he was eight years old, leaving him broken and resentful. After a period of this, however, he realized his duty to the crown and country, and continued his studies. He became quiet and serious, only really opening up to his brothers and to his friend Bethany.

Two years later, with his father's permission, he began a long five year trip to travel around the world, spending time in foreign courts, learning new customs and languages, while continuing his studies, and frequently corresponding with his brothers and friend Bethany. This experience profoundly changed him. While still being serious, he learned how to talk to people, make deals, foster discussion. He learned the art of masterful speech, on a private scale. He was definitely not an orator. But when he came back he was fifteen years old. Now finished with his studies, he entered the military as a simple lieutenant.

He was not the only one to have changed. While he had been corresponding with Bethany frequently during his travels, he came back to find that he had different feelings for her than before. She reciprocated these feelings, and soon they were married, both at the age of sixteen years. This act stunned the Imperial Court. While his father paid little heed to his third born son, and allowed the marriage, and Bethany's noble status, several members of the court were outraged that he had been able to marry of his own accord, and that a diplomatic marriage could have had some political advantage- and also, he was too young to marry, right? Stannis paid them no heed.

But the same people would soon be shocked at the change in Stannis. He became happier again, and began to smile more publicly, and rose in the ranks of the military. His loving relationship with his wife would bear much fruit. He would have a total of eight children who survived to adulthood, six sons and two daughters, Stannis(21), Marrian(19), Maximillian(18), Emiliano(16), Victor(12), Bethany(12), Maria(10) and Harold(4). His wife would have three miscarriages and two daughters who did not survive past infancy, much to his dismay, and the loss stuck him deep. Still, he loved his family dearly, and also loved his brother's children, treating them as well as his own.

Meanwhile, he continued to climb through the military, and found himself not too long later in a war. At the rank of major, and at the age of twenty-three he lead his forces into battle in the Zarmir War, alongside his brother, now the Emperor. Mocked by other commanders as a "royal weakling" only put in his position because of his birth, he would shock them by his command. The war proved to be a disaster on the large scale, but Stannis's unit, known as the Iron Stags, would prove to be a strong and capable fighting force. Stannis himself rode into the thick of combat, encouraging his men, and not fearing to take his sword out to slay the enemy. He impressed his men by sleeping in the same conditions that they did, eating the same food, and riding into battle with them, earning their respect and devotion.

Despite the small victories the Iron Stags won in the war, the war itself was a disaster. During the largest battle of the war, when a unit was trapped, surrounded by enemies, and close to destruction, Stannis disobeyed orders and charged with the Iron Stags through the bloody fighting, breaking through the lines and the encirclement, rescuing many of the surrounded men. However, the victory came at great cost, and Stannis himself was wounded and later in the day knocked off his horse. He continued fighting, but it soon became clear that the battle was lost. While most of the army cut and ran, Stannis and his unit kept on fighting on until he was ordered to retreat. For his actions, the Emperor gave Stannis the Bulwark of Nir, and awarded him both the Order of the Silver Star and the Order of the Golden Collar. When he saw his wounds, Stannis asked to be taken to a common field hospital, however the Emperor would have none of it, and quickly fetched a personal doctor to tend to the wounds.

Soon enough, the war was over. He returned home to find the House of Lords had approved of his Bulwark of Nir award. He was granted leave to spend time and recover from his wounds, which were not too serious, and he soon recovered. He was soon promoted to Colonel, which disappointed him because he had to relinquish command of his beloved unit. Given the command of a garrison, he could spend time with his wife and children. He always took delight in his children and nieces and nephews, and spent his leave time spending time with his family in the Imperial Palace. He wanted the best for his children, and tried to provide them with a good education, and tried to take care of them as best as possible.

His eldest son Stannis is a spitting image of his father, a twenty-one year old military lieutenant whom is serious and, admiring his father greatly, tries to be like him as much as he can. His son Marrian joined the Imperial Navy instead, and to his father's dismay has a drinking problem. His son Maximillian is an aspiring diplomat, who like his father has traveled the globe and is an easy, outgoing and charming man, and gets along with everyone. The shy Emiliano is the scholar, who rarely takes his nose out of his books. The identical twins, Bethany and Victor, get along very well, and are the troublemakers of the family. Maria is quiet and gentle, with a very vivid imagination that she uses to keep herself occupied. After Maria, two of the miscarriages and two daughters who died in infancy seemed to indicate that Bethany would not have anymore children. However, six years after Maria was born, Bethany gave birth to a sickly boy, named Harold.

After twelve years of peace war finally erupted again, and Stannis was called with his force to war again, against enemies of the crown. This he gladly accepted, and left his family to fight for the crown. However, on the eve of battle, he was horrified to learn that his brother was shot by a sharpshooter, and dead. He was summoned back to the Imperial Palace, to arrive to support his nephew and see what he could do to help the new Emperor through these difficult times.

Oh yea, now that you joined I will clear up the succession a bit. The current heir is Princess Anne, she is the daughter of the younger twin brother of Emperor Emiliano. So to sum it up, then she is Victarian's cousin, after her follows her younger sister. This would currently make Ironhide the third son of the the current Emperor's grandfather. Meaning that Ironhide would be the current third in line for the throne, unless he prefers to be a younger brother still.

Victor runs the reputable Cog's Clinic, a high profile medical centre where many high ranking and wealthy individuals have sought the cutting edge health services on offer. Victor's comprehensive knowledge of medical science and flare for invention led him to be the first to implement whale oil powered devices into his hospital. Cog's Clinic is also known to be the leading authority on the transplanting of human organs. In fact the clinic gained much of its financial success through replacing the failing organs of wealthy but hedonistic nobles. Despite such a large volume of transplants the clinic always seems to have fresh organs in stock.

Victor is also known for his work with the homeless and poor of the capital. His hospital has a dedicated wing to feeding and treating the lowest of society, who have no family or friends to help them.

Cool! That's fine. Third in line would suit him well anyway- he does not desire the throne.

Different orders and rewards in the game

Imperial Orders (dynastic orders)
Founded 1 I.C

The order was founded by Emperor Valers I when he declared the Kingdom of Iridia into an Empire and assumed the mantel of Emperor. Emperor Valers appointed 22 Knights and Companions of the order along with the Sovereign, awarding it to his most staunch supporters and the premier dukes in the realm. It has since then been favoured by the Imperial Dynasty, and as such it is the most prestigious order within the Empire that one can be admitted to. To ensure this exclusivity it has been the norm never to admit someone into the order who holds a rank lower than an Earl, though exceptions have been made for family of the sovereign without titles, as well as keeping the order limit within the 22 members. Finally the members of the order also have several privileges and responsibilities at coronations, special events, accompanying the Emperor on openings of the House of Lords and so forth.

The Golden Collar is made from Imperial goldsmiths to ensure the quality of the work, in it there are two coats of arms, the one of the Imperial house, as well as the house of the Knight, going over the shoulders of the member showing the friendship and loyalty between the monarch and the member. The collar however is only one part of the outfit, fine silks are imported, lined with golden threads and the colour of dark purple (otherwise only permitted to be worn by royalty by custom, if no longer law) along with a dark blue sash, it is said that the costume costs the yearly income of an earl.

(for players: any person of the rank of Duke or higher may start as a member, anyone else wishing to start with it PM me or it will be rewarded to people of deserving nature during the game.)
Founded: 429 OC

The order of the Silver Star was founded by King Victarian IV after a voyage where he became lost at sea, during the night they saw the star and it was prophesied that it would lead them home and bring a new dawn upon his kingdom. They came back on course as was back in Iridia the following week. The Silver Star is a medal worn over the chest, it symbols the guiding light of the nation towards the future. There are 52 knights and companions of the order along with their sovereign.

Many receive this order while rising through the ranks of the military, as such it has become custom for the Sovereign as well as the recipient to wear uniform under the ceremony. Many also see this as a step before the Golden Collar, and as such wear it proudly in portraits and court occasions.

Civilian Orders:
Founded: 206 IC

Founded in the year 206 IC, it was a new medal made by the late Emperor, as the late Emperor was always keen on scientific advancement, he created the order to be granted to any citizen of his Empire whom he should wish for, after they had done a service in one way or another for their field. There are currently only two members of the order, the two being Mario Abramovich who installed electricity within Tolstov Palace, and the other being the man who constructed the first railroad line. The medal is the first of its kind in the history of the Empire, one to be awarded to the ordinary man, one which will surely come in use more often should the current trend of scientific and industrial advancement continue.

Granter: The Sovereign

Members: As mentioned above (players will be awarded as game goes on.)
Military medals and honours (Speak with Alex if you want to start with any of these, if he approves I add it to the list):
Founded: 53 IC

The medal was first crafted by Emiliano III during the conflict with the people of Ailhus (50-55 IC). During a battle in 53, the Emperor was surrounded with his forces, getting cut down one by one until only a handful left in the battlefield of Nir. Eventually it was just the emperor and two of his soldiers, the two soldiers stood firm against all odds, receiving wound after wound. But they stood long enough until reinforcements arrived. As the enemy was beaten back, the Emperor and the two soldiers were brought back to their tents where they were treated. The two soldiers died over the following hours, and with their death approaching the Emperor awarded them both this new honour and placed a shield on their chest to symbolize them standing strong as a bulwark.

Following this the new medal was created with a shield as its symbol in a golden medal shaped as a star, to remember the two soldiers and their heroic stance. The medal has since been granted for exceptional valour, courage, honour and stalwartness in the face of the enemy. It is the most honourable medal to receive for a soldier and is worn with pride. It is said that each medal carries a piece of metal from the two shields of the guards that saved the Emperor.

Name: Lord Arthur Neville, 5th Duke of Towton

Honorifics: Nobility, Officer in the Imperial Army
Personality Traits: Born Tactician, Prestigious Family
Properties: Owns a reasonable amount of land in Lazuli, currently investing in the shops and guilds of Iridia City.

Biography:
Lord Arthur lead an interesting life. Born the son of Lord William Neville, the 4th Duke of Towton, he was already raised in a traditional martial family, know to have produced some ofthe mightiest generals the empire ever saw. Arthur's father, William, was a good commander, however, since a young age Arthur would read on military strategy, and in the old campaigns of the Empire and would see all the mistakes his father would do while planning manouvers and tactics. Arthur, on the other hand, showed himself to be brilliant, a very intelligent man, he was known to be able to beat anyone in chess, including his father and his fellow peers, and showed to have an extraordinary knowledge in military tactics and History. His course was already set from the start, and he, like all the men of his family, joined the Imperial Army at the age of 16, to do his duty in the name of the emperor. In the military, he drew up a career tha would shame most others, since the beginning he was known to have been not only a brilliant commander, but also a brutal administrator, who managed large regiments and orders whit alot of ease at the same time, quickly gaining the title of Colonel of the Imperial army. His time to shine however came during the Zarmir war, though the war was a failure, Arthur showed his tactical genius, striking and leading some of the few Iridian victories during the war, even while being outgunned and outmaned most of the time, and is hailed as a hero due to his brave actions. Since the war he has remained a faithful member of the house of Lords, being very interested in Politics, and wanting to do his nation good. He is also a die-hard monarchist, who will defend the right of the Emperor and his family to the death. Lord Arthur also has a wife, Lady Katherine (Born 162), who Arthur is very devoted to, they have four children, three boys, and one daughter. All his sons are in the military, and his firstborn, Henry, seems to have the same level of skill and valor as his father.
