I think we need to get more standard rules like stats and if we use an order system.

If the GM intends to run a RP game, then stats are not so important, as we could just react to the events he presents to us, IMO.

Well, I am saying that after a quick review of the original thread the OP is refering to (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?676297-Release-Day-Multiplayer-Diplomacy). It seems more focused on players deciding to OTL events, which can be fresh and less demanding than a pure-stats game. But anyways, I would play both!
