People of Czechoslovakia! The communists under Klement Gottwald have attempted to usurp power and end all democratic institutions in our fair and beautiful republic! I cannot stand by and allow this and so I hereby declare that monster dismissed from office, charged with treason and order his immediate arrest! In line with this I also declare martial law and the assumption of full executive mandate by myself until democracy is safe to return, kept away from the foul reds who wish to abuse it! Nope this is likely, the reason why he buckled in real life is the US had no balls and there was a soviet army on his door step. America with Fry will surely stand up for him.

The Organization of American States​

President Carlos Prio of Cuba has amended his policy of isolationism and as such reaffirms the importance of the OAS as a form of maintaining peace and human rights within membership countries as well as battling the threat of Communism in the western hemisphere. The main concern of the OAS is the growing tension in Argentina and the fear that any conflict will be seen as an invitation for the communist menace. Carlos Prio spoke at the annual meeting of the OAS...

"Fellow statesmen, It is with growing concern that we cast our eyes on Argentina. My fear, a fear that I am sure many of you share, is that a prolonged conflict will be seen as an invitation to Communist elements in the region. Though I urge the United Kingdom to consider the treaty in the interests of peace, Cuba will be following the lead of the esteemed George Marshall, and the Untied States, the founders of the Organization of American States. Make no mistake, should Communism rear it's ugly head in Argentina, Cuba WILL act."

To President Carlos Prio of Cuba

Argentina admires Cuba's stance on a united Americas, but the problem facing Argentina are mostly economically and militarily. To begin, here is the problems;
1: Argentina has low infrastructure and low industry.
2: The military is using outdated equipment, and our navy, despite its size, is a shadow of what it could be.
3: The politics of Argentina are focused on making the people love the government, which means that the Socialist have a large power base. Riots occurred on the inauguration of our President Luis Bourdoir, both from the far left and the far right.

These can be resolved, but we need to ensure that we aren't at risk of getting into a needless war. Also, if we can reclaim the Falkland and South George Islands, it will show our people this new administration is able to make real change for Argentina. We accept Cuba's offer to join the OAS. We hope that with support and time, we can make Argentina a powerful supporter of the OAS.

Onto the agenda of the military, the biggest asset of Argentina's military is its navy. however, it is using outdated WW1 ships, and it have very little power. To improve the condition of the Argentinian navy, the admirals, along with the President, have come up with composition of the 1st Combat Surface fleet, and the 2st Naval Recon fleet;

1st Combat Surface Fleet;
-1 battleship
-2 battle-crusiers
-4 light cruisers
-4 destroyers
The 1st Combat Surface Fleet's purpose is to provide fire-support to the Argentina marines in naval invasions.

2nd Naval Recon Fleet;
-2 Light Carrier
-4 Light cruisers
-4 destroyers
The 2nd Recon Fleet's purpose is to scout maritime waters in times of war to scout and detect enemy fleets before they reach Argentina's waters.

We asked the OAS if the fleets are within the bounds of any naval restrictions, and if Cuba would like to help aid in the construction of any of the vessels, as Argentina's fleets will come to aid Cuba in times of war.

Poland is sorely hurt by your suggestion that communism is evil. I personally believe that we are simply out to protect the interests of the people. Why should one man be rich, just because his father was? Also, democracy is too easy to corrupt, and never lasts long. Please refrain from insulting us in future.

GM note: Time to get back to business. This game has kind of been a confused wreck thus far; and is in need of clear and concise rules and a proper start-date. I have settled on the following options as acceptable:

• Restart the game at January 1st, 1948, with the new rules
• Implement the new rules immediately and keep going with the present timeline
• Restart the game beginning with the Berlin Blockade/Airlift, with the new rules

Each of you please PM me on here with your preferred option.

Regarding the rules, they won't be changed much from what they already are; except with the addition of war-orders and defined mechanics for the Soviet, Allied, and Non-Aligned blocs. However if anyone has any ideas they wish to share, PM them to me here or on IRC. I'm all ears.

Finally, voting will close on Tuesday June 16th, at 17:50 Eastern Time.

If all goes well, the game should be running at full speed by tomorrow evening and the chaos can begin anew.
