OOC: Being GM is a big responsibility - it requires someone who is quite active and just because Clueless created the thread doesn't mean it is his property. The players make the game and the majority of players have elected to have a new GM - what's wrong with that?

OOC: Its still bad form to just usurp power from him like this. He is after all the one who created the game. If you're upset about the way things are going, it would be far better to either get approval from him on a new GM, or just start a different game. Until either of those things happen, its better to wait.

OOC: I don't mind and I don't think clueless would mind having an extra GM, but I think we should just wait for him as well, just so there is no discomfort for any of the players who may be uncomfortable with adding another GM with out the thread creators input.

Bulgaria would be interested in strengthening relation with the People's Republic of Romania and requests to meet in Bucharest for negotiation of treaties and pacts of friendship.

We also request that the Soviet Union approve and oversee an expansion and modernization of the People's Army of Bulgaria. And to assist us in placing diplomatic pressure on Yugoslavia for the ceding of the rightful Bulgarian land of Macedonia.

We would like to remind the United States of our proposed peace treaty that would fulfill the things they have cited as their casus belli:

THE TREATY OF ISTANBUL:

-Turkey will repay all aid and send back all military equipment to the US and its allies that have given aid to Turkey.

-No bases are to be build in Turkey in the next 20 years

-Turkey will pay reparations to the US and its allies for having to mobilize for war

-The free elections will be held at the signing of the treaty

-Every proposal has to pass through the Turkish congress be accepted and the congress shall be filled with the people the population chooses

Yeah,the turkish brigade even held an area that a whole south korean division could not hold so they are majorly screwed right now

We know that the UK has a vested interest in maintaining its empire, as India has left your empire, and Malaysia is threatening to free itself from your rule, the Argentina people wish however to see the Falkland Islands and the South George Islands return to Argentina. We would like to know on what conditions the UK be willing to return the islands to Argentina. If it helps, we will sign this;
Treaty of Buenos Aires
1: Argentina will have a non-aggression pact with the UK for 20 years.
2: Argentina will allow the British Citizens on the islands to maintain their nationality.
3:Goods from the UK and Argentina will not have a tariff.
4: Argentina will give the UK a 5% discount on goods sold from Argentina to the UK.
5: The UK can use the naval and airbases on the islands for military exercises in the South Atlantic.
6: The UK gives the Falklands and the South George Islands to Argentina.

If these terms are agreeable, please notify us that it is so, so we can plan this into our economic plans. I wish the UK Minister of Foreign affairs a good day.

People of Czechoslovakia! The communists under Klement Gottwald have attempted to usurp power and end all democratic institutions in our fair and beautiful republic! I cannot stand by and allow this and so I hereby declare that monster dismissed from office, charged with treason and order his immediate arrest! In line with this I also declare martial law and the assumption of full executive mandate by myself until democracy is safe to return, kept away from the foul reds who wish to abuse it!
